Those Beatles are what we called Christmas beetles. They come around December summer rainfall time. I grew up outside Mussina. Wonderful experiences! So adventurous, unfortunately our borders remain a topic! For some unknown reasons, Zim is one country that just hurt her progress because of longwinding logistical issues! One will argue that it's the reason why our borders are secure, but there is a small difference sometimes between adamant and cluelessness

What steps did you take to be allowed to fly a drone in Botswana and Zimbabwe and how long does the process take?

Both countries have their own processes. Botswana we sent serial numbers and due diligence to CAAB. And with Zimbabwe we got permission slips from CAAZ. Both took over 3 weeks to obtain. It is a process. Good luck
