Moe, your interaction with Sutan is something special. Your bond is building and those sweet moments when Sutan says 'I love you' are a testament to that. Your 'angry moments' don't seem to last very long, but long enough for Sutan to know that she has 'crossed the line. Better yet, you emphasise your love for her and that every angry moment is part of teaching her something. In time, Sutan will thank you for being firm and not letting her get her way every time.

Children in Canada definitely start developing this sense of "vulgar" humour at Sutan's age. Perfectly normal especially at home and school with peers, it helps them develop a sense of when it is and isn't okay to be silly ☺️ Sutan is so cute!

Sutan is at the age to start saying bad words, making silly things, testing her parents' authority and reactions, in addition to laughing about it all. These are perfectly normal and even healthy behaviors (even if they can be a little irritating and frustrating for parents). All children around the world go through this phase. Sutan is doing great and seems to have typical healthy behaviors for her age! Don't worry about that, ok? Lots of kisses and hugs.

I don't know what "sutan" mean in your language is, but i believe "sutan" has a beautiful meaning in Japanese. For what I know, correct me if I'm mistaken, "sutan" can be interpreted as "existing in heaven" and commonly used in Kansai region, which is Moe's (kimono mom, aka sutan's mom) hometown.

I think 4-year-olds all over like toilet humor. When I was that age, I had a friend whose mom made it a rule that she could only say things like that in the bathroom. So when that friend came over, we would go in the bathroom and just say words like "butts" and "farts" for a few minutes, and then we would get bored and go back to playing. 😂
