This is a video of Sutan, who just turned three years old, answering some of your questions. I thought it would be difficult to get her natural answers if we did it as a Q&A session, so I filmed it naturally as usual when we were talking and eating ice cream after taking a bath. I love how she is sitting in one place, immersed in a conversation with her mother. Kids usually wont stay in one place, let alone being in a conversation with their parents for nearly 15 to 20 minutes especially at the age of 3-4. Thats what really amazes me.

OMG this whole mom-daughter interaction was adorably, hilarious. The funniest part to me was when Sutan was asked if she had a request for mom and she goes “Yes!” Then proceeds to put on her glasses, take a long chug from her drink, puts the cup down, lift her glasses up, looks at mom and says “I want you to eat potatoes.” Lmao. Since when did 3 year olds have charisma? That part felt like a scene from a James Bond movie where the characters are at a bar but it’s a comedy.

Probably one of the most heartwarming video I'd ever see from a family channel. I never never wouldve imagined with the upbringing I had, that a parent and a 3 year old child can have such a casual conversation. I guess this is what it is when parents respect a child like an adult. Theres just something that felt so real about the conversation. I love how you talk to your child. With patience and respect, making her feel like an adult and trust that she will find an answer even if she has to think about it for a while. Especially the moment where sutan had to think for a long while about when she felt angry and then told the story. You could see it still made her sad to think about it. I had to pause midway, while they were talking about Moe-san getting angry at some point during the day, but also making peace and making up with each other, because it moved me to tears. It’s a sweet, lighthearted video, but also like just so beautiful to watch? I guess it’s making me emotional because I experienced none of these as a child, and even up til now with my parents? Like simply being supported, and having parents who were patient, encouraging, and just has respect for their kids, knowing that acknowledging their opinions and choices while young is crucial to their growth.
