At 62 years old I always spelled bale as in a bale of hay bail. Looking at the title of this video I've been spelling it wrong. I guess your never to old to learn! I enjoy your videos I'm not a AZ native but I've lived here 59 years 30 years of that doing service work for AmeriGas Propane worked in Buckeye helping out for many years. I talked to you a couple times working on that old propane dispenser. So I enjoy watching you run around I try to see if I recognize where your at brings back good memories.

I also enjoy these videos not just Bales, but all the farming videos. When I start feeling down on myself, these guy’s make me realize I have lots of work to do. Get up and get my chores done. I know a squeeze operator in Oregon than runs levers that'd be happy to give you a run for your money. He only stacks 4x4's though, so he wouldn't be used to 2 or 3 ties

Do the bales get moisture tested and then weight adjusted since they will dry down more? is there such a thing as shrink loss in the hay business?

It does lose weight. I think we figure 5% loss of all tons.
