I've done this before, I've flipped $1 dollar cards into $500+ dollar cards just by trading up.. I mean it's really fun, and usually if you explain to the dealer or your trading partner what you're trying to do most are really cool with it if you have something they want - I mean it won't be a major factor in their judgement when it comes to a potential trade but it will play a factor none the less.. I mean it can be done online via various sports card message boards but it's much easier to do at card shows - especially large card shows/conventions.

In my opinion I think that Allen and Lamar have a way higher upside than baker for this season. I’d take them over Baker.

allen is going to not have as strong of a season as before im calling it now. and i think lamar is going to struggle some against good teams and honestly might not make the playoffs. in terms of upside Baker has the best shot of pushing the odds

A real challenge would’ve been, buying a Basketball card that would go up right before the football season. Unless a player gets injured in training, every football card usually goes up leading to the season. Stafford is the real sleeper. The Rams defense and now that they have gotten rid of Goff, they have a lot of upside. Thanks for sending the shirt and stickers! Is there a day planned for all that received one to wear? With inflation being at an all time high right now since 1980. The card market will continue to deflate slowly, and might I add, ebay is over saturated with cards to the point that there is no value left, everybody is under cutting everyone to get the lowest price. Plus the disgusting price gouging fees they associate with the customers that helped built them up to who they are today. By the time everything is said and done you are losing money selling on ebay. And not just a little, ALOT!!! Its hard to fathom, and I am just being honest with you. I do not care how much they are paying, I would never advertise for them. They are dead to me. Lol. COMC IT IS! That guy's view on all the capital being held hostage at PSA is so intriguing. I never thought of it that way. By being overwhelmed in submissions, hobbyists money gets stuck in waiting sitting at PSA, REMOVING the money (currently) from the market. Naturally that will make replenishing inventory by sellers harder to do, resulting in lower overall numbers.

Yeah, it was a really interesting perspective. Many people think when PSA sends all the cards back it will flood the market with supply, which would be a negative, but on the other hand it will free up a lot of capital for more deals to be done.

I think that the market will be flooded with supply and cause a temporary dip in prices. However as the hobbyists/investors/collectors start selling those and gaining capital, that will cause an increase in demand which will offset the temporary dip and bring prices not only back up but probably higher. Basically, capital will just move around. The question is when will PSA will sending the cards back. That is key.

Really? I've never liked portrait cards. Also I don't think auto cards will hold their value in the long run, if they're from companies ( and players) trying to avoid a link with the team they play for....cutting out the league just doesn't seem right, because there's no team logo
