I thought about you and your Monster Truck and maybe someday you will get it over here in the States. I know that's far fetch because the cost to ship it over here would be just crazy money. i've got one of the 30 degree north trucks and they do seem really good, chassis seems real good but hinge pin blocks were a bit weak and got replaced with losi ones other than that and the cheap engine being rubbish like all clone engines its been really good

Back in the day (early 2000s) I had a FG Beetle. I used to run it on the highest octane fuel I could get, plus the correct mix of two stroke oil and a splash of straight nitromethane. The more the merrier. Not sure you can buy straight nitro from Model Shops these days, but it helps to know guys who run Nitro altereds and dragsters. 😉

With all the upgrades there's hardly any plastic left, after you replace the A arms it's going to be all metal exvept for the gas tank. Throw another axle on your Land Rover, six wheel drive is clearly superior to 4 wheel drive. Watching those nitro rc cars from a distance you forget how big they are, you'd wake upo in a hospital if you got hit by on of those. Great Video Kevin.

better off leaving the A arms plastic. the more aluminum / titanium you bling the 5 out with, the heavier it gets. also , the shock from impact just goes to the next weakest link. Id rather replace the A arms vs axle shafts, the diff housing etc

I've got a dbxl gas, and large scale gas rigs are fun but they aren't meant to he bashed the way an xmaxx or kraton is unless you're dumping a ton of money into them, also a quality kill switch helps not just any random cheap one and a failsafe isnt good enough, and they're rough on tires because of the weight, you should link up with some of the UK 5th scale guy Kev I'm sure they would teach you more about how to run them properly and safely.
