I have the L35 and absolutely like it. I am wondering if I can buy the Lattice head for it and swap the heads from one over to the other. The 21700 battery has a built-in type-c charger on itself, so it can also be used as a power bank to charge an Android or iPhone, and other stuff. And the UI is the best I ever had yet. And that 1 LM moonlight mode is very useful for me. I hope to see a 12,000 to 15,000 LM version of this type of EDC light this size in the future. The only improvement I would like to see is for Acebeam to put the mini power light right on the push-button itself, which can also be turned on, and left on in the dark. That would make it easier to find the side button. I leave the pocket clip right on the flashlight and point it at the side button for an easier feel in the dark.

Looks just like my L18 which is literally like the opposite of what the L35. L18 is basically like a laser. No spill whatsoever. I love it lol. If I need spill I use my GT Mini or K1. I must say with my K1 (720k CD) along with my KR1 in using W1 green osram. I much prefer green for throwers. You can see so much easier in green, much better contrast. (And no I don’t hunt, I just like that with green you can see more detail further out, due to how our eyes perceives light. I love my L18 though.) It’s great. L35 looks like a good all around use light though. More of a flooder then a thrower.

The side switch is very easily activated, so it definitely needs to be locked out to carry it. BUT!!! when you lock the side switch on any of the dual switch L series, it also locks the tail cap switch!! Why is no-one mentioning that? I am kind of funny in that I want my ":tactical" light to turn on when I grab it! I do not want to have to unlock the button or tighten the tail cap first. How did they let this come to market this way? I am a collector and avid flashlight user who owns 115 lights currently, 18 of which are acebeam, so I am definitely not ragging on the brand. I hope they correct this and I feel sorry for all of us who got one that functions this way. Part of me is just upset because I want these lights to play with and carry but the are relegated to bag or backup with this issue.

which tactical lights besides maybe a acebeam t36 can you recommend?
@fritz79433 жыл бұрын
@@lucada32 My favorite user interface by far is on the Klarus lights with the dual tail switches. I wish the lights were a little nicer, but I run several of them and like them very much. The 2 that I would recommend are the XT11X (18650 battery- 3200 lumen turbo and the Xt21X (21700 battery- 4000 lumen turbo. Both of these lights are primarily flood with a bit of throw. If you need to throw light more, I like the Acebeam L16 and the Eagletac S25R, 2000 lumen and 2600 lumen respectively. Both are 18650 lights. I carry different lights depending where I am going. If I am going where it will be mostly dark I will carry either Klarus. If I am going in a semi lit or lit urban environment, I will carry something that throws more like the lights I mentioned. They all have simple user interfaces which can be set to come on at turbo as primary and the Klarus lights also have instant strobe, and you can switch between strobe, steady on, lower brightness settings or off very easily and intuitively. I have not found any other light with a dual tail switch setup that I like nearly as much. Hope this is helpful.

@@fritz7943 I don't know any flashlight that has a different lock for the button and not for the tail switch like you was saying, a few sofirns you can still activate moonlight mode from lockout but then the battery is obviously still reciving power from the battery so the battery will need removing straight away for storage so it's kinda a down fall as its still puttting out power while in your pocket locked and personally the l35 has a very firm clicky side switch so it's not even got the problem you are talking about, the reason this flashlight came to the market is because all flashlights operate like this and the l35 is maybe the best I have used in all areas from ui to beam. But for real i would love to know what brand have 2 individual lockouts for tail and side switch
@itanamullik2 жыл бұрын
@@fritz7943 the down fall to klarus to me is the ui, I always need instant access to turbo from either double click or tail switch and moonlight from hold or second button which klarus offers but also I need acces to my memorised mode from the single click, that way the light is always 1 or maximum of 2 clicks away from where you want. So that's thrunite acebeam olight and sofirn. Fenix klarus and nightcore all have slow to maneuver ui, fenix should make the side switch able to turn on and off and klarus should put a memory mode on the small tail switch and a hold small switch to access moonlight then it would be perfect, it's like the ui was made by infants

@@roypatterson9910 I think you misunderstood my point.
