its a nice and solid light. Quite convenient for charging too. The mechanical lock out switch is handy. Replace the bezel with a stainless steel one will make it looks even better. I always like a light with a handle.

Glad to know that I'm not the only one that had to learn the finesse of the x45's turbo. It drove me crazy for an entire week trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Turns out, nothing!

The 80 GT has nice even fill throughout the frame I noticed but the x50 has a crazy amount of light with a big hot spot.

They can’t go back home if they are stuck, on a rescue mission, etc. This really is just for someone wanting to have fun.

Great video, Matt. Having a hard time deciding wether to order the X50 in 5000k or 6500k. I like neutral, but don’t like tints with any hint of green or yellow. Any thoughts on this that may help choosing between the two?

Any idea how long it last in lower modes? on description it say 2h in medium2 and 11h in low, but those numbers are tad weird... there is small difference between high-med3-med2 that just strange...

It's most likely due to stepdown and including the stepdown duration into the runtime. Soda can sized lights cannot safely sustain that amount of lumens for long.

How can it be 40000 Lumen, if the manufactorer specifies them to a maximum of 4292lm per LED? 8x4292 is only 34336 lumen. But yeah just add 20%, who can measure that anyways.... BTW those LED are rated for 29W max each. With a maximum efficiency of 181lumen/W with BINNED LEDs. IF it really has 5000lumen per LED, that would mean 27,6W per LED at 40000 lumen. That is 220W at 40000Lumen. The Battery in the X50 is specified at 10,8V/4250mAh. That is 45,9Wh. With 220W powerdraw how can the X50 run for 90min at 40000 lumen? The math says the runtime is less then 15 min.

High output cool tint lights just blind the user. With such low color rendering it just washes everything out, especially the floody lights. That with built in battery pack makes it a bright toy, not a useful tool. If you forget to recharge the built in pack and need to use light, there's no way to just swap the drained cell for charges ones.

Not nearly that good. 90% of my stock portfolio is invested long with a traditional broker in mutual funds. Been averaging 22% or so gains over the past few years because of this epic market. My webull account I just use for individual stocks so I have only a few k in it. Right now I'm down quite a bit. When PLTR jumps into the high 20s I like to sell a bit, as itcomes down I keep buying. At the moment its at less than $19. I am still very happy to keep buying the dip, but overall it means I'm upside down on P&L in Webull account :)
