Now this is a well used/stocked tool box! Im happy to see how youve managed to cram more tools in this thing than most people fit in their $10k snap on boxes lol. I know this is an old video but it stands up with your current offerings that teach and inspire. Thank you!

Man I really appreciate your videos. I too stopped being a flat rate mechanic about 15 years ago after an injury. I have a good career now but still have a highbrow taste in tools. Your reviews are the best I’ve found.

Hey catus, I got jammed up this week removing an oil pressure sensor from a cummins ism (m11) All I had at work was a snap on 1 1/16 impact socket. It was to fat to get the sensor out because it is very close to the back of the timing case.I had to go home and get a powerbuilt chrome deep well 1 1/16 socket that worked great! I thought of you mentioning that you wish you bought only impact on 1/2 inch drive. Thought you would enjoy my experience! Now I'm thinking of moving some 1/2 chrome to work.

Get a Lista! 440lbs capacity per drawer! I got one for work and the thing is like a tank! The drawers make a solid clunk as they close and even though I have it loaded down pretty good I can roll and steer it with one hand!

Nice job hitting 5k. It seems like you got there rather quickly. My God, do you have an awesome tool collection! I like that extensive collection of 1/2" impacts. I think you mentioned you have from 8mm-38mm. I'm pretty sure I have never needed a socket outside of that range. I like the idea of having such a wide selection, all within the same drive size. It seems simple and efficient that way. Thanks for all the effort you put into your channel over the last year or so, I have actually learned alot, especially when it comes to -what to look for when buying a new tool.

This video simultaneously cheered & depressed me. Cheered because I see that I am not the only guy with a Tools-OCD; If Catus is considered sane, I too should be ! ;-) Depressed because I realised I have only 1/1000 of the tools I am trying to collect, there's NO WAY I am going to finish my collection in this lifetime. Maybe the spell will break & I will be freed of this OCD ! ( Hope springs eternal ....etc as per Alex-P)

This is a great fun vdeo. You killed me with the micro planer in the first drawer. That's a kitchen thing if I'm not mistaken. What did you used to say to customers, "would you like a little lemon zest on that exhaust manifold replacement?" Lol You must have used to work on high end Porches or Lamborghini's or something. No offense intended, just struck me as funny (yeah, I have a weird sense of humor) and I liked the whole video.

Ok now I see what you and I talked about before about your toolbox tour. You need at a minimum the 72 bottom and the 56 inch top for all that stuff. You haven’t even showed every thing the bad part being piled up is makes it hard to see what you have when watching the tour. I am sure you know what and where things are sort of right. Thanks for the tour.

Where do you go to get the wrenches? Are you going to Pawn Shops, looking on Craigslist, Swap Meets or where do you most often find stuff? For overloaded drawers like those would it be easy to change out the sliders to better ones? Can you recomended a good 3/8 spinner bar where the shaft goes all the way through the handle?

Nice collection but what a mess, I also have a work table full of stuff but I try and keep order in drawers and just keep the rest in boxes out of sight heh. I also think it is important to remind people that 12 point sockets and wrenches and other tools really should only be used on 12 point bolts, I have seen so many people do their own DIY work on cars with 12 point tools on 6 point bolts just to cause a lot of expense in hours wasted having to deal with rounded bolts due to using 12 point tools. I think tool companies want to sell more to the same customer so they just push more types of bolt pattern sockets and wrenches and other tools when it is doing the customer more harm than good.

Great vid cat. Do you wanna sell those USA craftsman reversible metric wrench’s? What is the tool in you’re impact drawer that’s right next to the bottom 12pt impact socket? Almost looks like a drill chuck? I found one of these but have no clue what it’s for? Mine is a USA made one really nice.

Nice video tho how’s that sky blue handle 3/8th handle ratchet in the super sketchy heavy top drawer you reviewed at the very end? Wow you sure do have alot of tools there. Wish I had that much myself. Sorry to hear about your health problem. I'm disable myself I got paralyzed from my waist down from a rare cancer. I been paralyzed for 27 years now an cancer free. I also had the cancer 2 years before that so I'm a 2 time cancer survivor . In 2000 I brought my friend's top an middle craftsman boxes filled with about 75 percent of tools so after I got my shop built I took inventory of my tools and made a list of missing tools and went to sears a few times an got the missing tools. An I got another small craftsman boxes filled them with other tools an a snapon box with tools also. Since last year me an my dad been going to harbor freight tools once a month an buy tools we got the 5 drawer tool cart general. An I been buying Pittsburgh tools I got 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 inch sockets shallow and deep metric an sae an socket trays an extensions and ratchets and wrenches in metric an sae an stubby wrenches and some ratchet wrenches also. Got some wobble extensions and some other harbor freight tools. Hopefully by this summer my cart with be filled up. Being on a fix income is not a good thing. As long I pay my household bills I'm good
