Do you have any physical examples or experiments? I'm trying to understand what this looks like in the real world. In your photosynthesis example (2:50) - Do I literally put some water next to some Iron next to some Ruthenium? What is MV2+ and nanoITO? These are nanometers apart, so do they literally just stack? And then I just put them out in the Sun and magic happens? Haha - the theoretical to physical world is making no sense to me. Thanks for any help.

I do not think you can make it by yourself at home. The rhuthenium for example needs to be surrounded by aromatic molecules most of the time. For a physical example you can search for articles about artificial leafs, or even youtube video. They will give you informations about the organisation

"Singly occupied molecular orbital." In other words, an orbital with only one electron in it!
