I bought one of these 2 banger bags after reviewing your video. I currently have a 5.11 bailout bag with the 3 M4 pouch configuration which I have been using as my patrol grab and go for several years. I'm currently experimenting at the range between the two. The one thing I like about the 2 banger bag is that although its much smaller, I'm finding that I can manuever around easier without it interfering with the stuff on my belt. I also like having the mag pouch compartments against the body. This in my opinion makes the bag feel better balanced. The other one has the mag pouches on the opposite side away from my body and feels like the bag is "pulling away" from me during extended periods. The only downside is that because it is smaller, it makes a tight fit for the stuff I have inside. I like the idea of mounting the tourniquet on the outside, as well as a set of flex cuffs. In mine I carry 2 Pmags, 2 glock 17 mags, a flashbang, an orion smoke signal flare, 6 chemlights, gerber multitool, tourniquet, an israeli bandage, and 2 pairs of rubber gloves. 5.11 also has a 4 banger bag which IMO is too large. Now if only 5.11 would come up with a "3 banger bag" that would be perfect!

Good idea to "STAGE" tourniquets, open to easily fit over leg & arm, before attaching to gear. This will allow easy one hand application in case of injury to one hand or arm.

I'm still not a fan of 5.11's gear. I got a 5.11 seat organizer (I think I may have seen the same one in your patrol vehicle tour), and I have to say that was very disappointed with it. If I used more molle gear, I might like it better, but that's not the case for now.
@Six60Four6 жыл бұрын
Publius2k4 Productions That’s where I was for awhile. 5.11 was bought and sold so many times early in its life. I think the parent company now does not mess with them too much so the R&D has been a little more consistent

Don’t need it, run a gun light on your rifle, keep the rifle in patrol ready position(bolt back/safety on/ magazine in), keep a plate carrier with everything you need and have it a slight bit bigger to fit over your current vest and uniform, and your good to go, fumbling with a bag is bad news and chances are u won’t use it, keep the stuff on your body and make sure the armory can stop the rifle your using

I too have been utilizing the 2 banger for my grab and go patrol rifle/medical support kit. I keep it chocked full of medical (more than likely what will be used.) 2 rifle mags and 1 extra pistol mag. I too keep flex restraints on the outside. (again more likely to be used realistically). The only thing I do not agree with in this video is the placement of the tourniquet (TQ). TQ's are made of nylon, and nylon is subject to UV deterioration. The reason TQ's are usually kept in a pouch or a protective cover, is for that very reason. Under normal use nylon will be fine being exposed to UV light. However, if you take that same nylon and subject it to extreme stress, like twisting, binding, and stretching, as a TQ will be subjected to. If the nylon has been exposed enough to UV light over time, it will be more prone to breaking, tearing, or separating. And with a TQ, we cannot have any of those things happen. TQ's are an important life saving tool. And if/when we will have to use one, it will be under the worse of conditions. In this kind of environment, Murphy's Law always prevails, so why would we introduce an additional failure. Placing the TQ in pouch which covers the TQ will reduce/eliminate the potential for the deterioration of the nylon. And with a piece of gear such a TQ, which may never be used for years, why would you not want to keep it in the best possible condition? Lots of options on the market for TQ pouches. Many of them either have a logo for TQ (litterally it's "TQ") or they have Velcro patch for the placement of such label. Any properly trained personal should be able to easily identify a TQ even if it is in a pouch. And if your commanding officers are worth thier salt, you will be doing lots of training with other agencies which operate in your region and that you have mutual aid agreements. And identifying/standardizing life saving equipment will be something that is implemented/covered under said training.

Or maybe if the police didn't miss 50-70% of their shots and trained a little more, you wouldn't have to parade around like Ohio is Kandahar. That's a No for me. Also, confusing an Olaes bandage with an Israeli bandage? Their design and the way they're used is completely different.
