5.11 Wingman Patrol Bag [TOUR of my Patrol Gear Bag]

This is a review of the 5.11 Wingman Patrol Bag. I have used this bag for quite some time and in my opinion, it is one of the best money can buy.
For one, it’s affordable. It retails for less than $100.00 (sometimes - much less) and does everything you need a gear bag to do. Molle webbing is everywhere, making attaching equipment that suits your specific needs much easier. Because of digital forms/paperwork/citations becoming much more prevalent, the Wingman fits everything I need and even some items I don’t.
One of the best things about this bag is the customization. If you need something within arm’s reach - you can attach it there. If you have an item that you use regularly, but not necessarily in emergency situations - you can attach it further away giving you more space.
I am very impressed with the quality and construction of the bag and I anticipate it lasting for many more years to come….of course until we don’t need gear bags any more.

A tip for the Zip ties in the sharps container, The best way I found working with them constantly is to leave them all in the plastic packet then make a small cut with a hole punch or scissors right in the centre of the plastic packaging, when you need one you can pull one out and it'll bend into a u shape to come out but the ends of the bag are still in tact so they cannot fall out without you pinching one and pulling it out yourself.

Brother, you are so down to earth, goddamn......you should have been an EMT or a Fireman. So the 4•11 is a "style" of BDU & boot, clothing line etc... yea? Awesome review of your taticial bag. We all keep the same stuff in our bags just a few different items. I give my bad guys a cigar I used to smoke them. LoL. I have the exact same bag so it was interesting to see how yours is set up. My only question is, why do you keep evidence collection/drug identification kits in your bag? Do you guys not keep that stuff in your trunk for everybody to use or are you just extra prepared?

The real life answer is you don’t stay cool. You just deal with the heat. They do make vent systems for the vests that actually help, but it’s always going to be hot. Thank you for the support!!
