Awesome video. Do you know the length of the inside of the main compartment? I'm looking for a pack that I can fit the barrel and stock of my rifle. The rifle comes apart after removing a screw. The barrel is 22" long so 23" would be ideal.

What would be the best bladder for the rush 10? I know it holds a 1.5 liter, but what brand fits it best?
@MilKitReviews13 жыл бұрын
@JimmyGunXD556 HI, Your coice would really depend on what you intend to carry in it. I have not had any issues that you speak of when the 10 is loaded, however if you are looking to carry a lot of weight you may wish to consider the RUSH12 or 24. The RUSH 12 is very similar in size to the MOAB 10 as you will in my review video for the 12. I hope this helps, but if not feel free to ask away. MKR.
@MilKitReviews13 жыл бұрын
@greasemonkey1185 Hi, the fitting is exactely the same between the MOAB10 and all the rush packs. If I have not covered this in this video take a look at my RUSH24 video as I have covered it there. I will be posting one on the RUSH72 very soon and will show the two together in that. As far as the weight goes it really depends how you pack them both. I attach mine for ease of transport keeping the lightest items in the MOAB and then rearrangeing items once I have reached my destination.

I am having a heck of a time deciding between the M6 or the M10. I am reading on forums that when these bags are loaded up they tend to pull severely on the shoulder and neck. I would think that the full front of the body in which the support strap is on, would distribute evenly. Do you have any experience you can lend me? Thanks
@MilKitReviews11 жыл бұрын
Hi uscray, You are right about the potential weight issues with the 10/72 combination. However, I have found that if you place your heavier items in the 72 and the lighter in the 10 then is makes a big difference in the way that it carries. Regards, MKR.
@MilKitReviews12 жыл бұрын
Hi FrozinOne, I use a Camlebak bladder in my MOAB10 that secures using the tab in the bag which works really well. As I don't have any other makes of bladder I really can't say if there are any better options than the one I have.

great review. i also have the rush 72 and this moab 10. the tier system is great, however when you load up both packs that's a lot of weight to be lugging around, so make sure you're in shape. i also use the Crossbreed Ohai holster in the concealed carry compartment. it's a kydex holster with leather backing with velcro so your pistol is always in the same position, but it's much easier to draw and reholster than the 5.11 holster. moab 10 is much more versatile than the moab 6.

Hey Milkit, I recently bought this bag but I have been having a problem. The cross-strap is rather uncomfortable to me. I am 5'10 and about 158 lbs, not really hefty, more lean, but the strap is digging into my pectoral. I have tried adjusting it to various lengths but it seems to dig wherever it is. Do you have this problem? I haven't heard anyone else say anything of it. I would really appreciate your help.

I was told by a 5.11 rep here in the States that 5.11 would be making more pouches in the Sandstone color. He said that they felt that the sandstone it would do double duty and match Multicam too. I tried to use FDE with my Moab 6 in Sandstone but it was too far away for my liking. I buy multicam pouches from Tactical Tailor but I don't think they will ship out of the USA. FDE was too dark for my Multicam Rush 12.

I own & EDC the Moab 6 (have been for a year; black) and love it. I'm thinkin of getting the 10 for winter use (to stow gloves, hat & scarf). My 6 has a Max Janus MOLLE'd on one side (FAK) & I've got a Max GPS pouch on the other that holds a compass. I did use a Max 10 x 4 bottle holder, but it made the carry a bit bulky. My one complaint about the 6 is that the strap is flimsy. it's very soft & I would prefer more stiffness such as Max straps provide. The straps are sewn in, so no way round it.

ive owned one for a about 3mos now. and it is way handy! of course that depends of the context in which its used for per individual (what isn't?). there's "tail" at the bottom w/c when not used to secure a sleeping bag or similar sized kit, just dangles. no prob, just loop n tie it up. macbook, raincoat, canteen, aid kit, handy snacks, folders, 320g drive etc ive stuffed em all in there and its still balanced. wen my shoulder gets tired, flip it to the other, gr8 4 d ambidextrous, gr8 review!

The dimensions of a 13 inch macbook pro are approximately 13 inches long by 9 inches wide. Thank you for the fast reply and a great review of the bag. Depending on the answer to this question is the main difference of whether I get the MOAB 10 or the Rush 12. Thank you again!

My 15" MacBook Pro slides in and fits snug. You can probably put the MacBook Pro in a neoprene or other type padded sleeve and it will still fit, but will be tight. I think it will be a very good bag for how you are planning to use it.

have you carried the rush 24 and moab 10 attached to each other on your back with full loads in each? if so how comfortable was it? seems like alot of weight if both packs are full. I just ordered the moab 10 like yours. Wondering about the comfort. I will probably get a 24 later
@MilKitReviews10 жыл бұрын
Hi Bob, Yes I have used the 10 with the 24 and 72. I would suggest that if carrying them attached together to load the heavier items in the 24 and the lighter in the 10. This way you will make it much easier on your back as it won't be pulling so much. It is a good system if loaded thoughtfully. Regards, MKR.

Good luck. It's great this bag is so versatile and will be super helpful when I am on call at the hospital. It will also contribute to my unending desire for one more bag. Hi David Aguilar, I am sorry to be the bearer of bad tiding, but the maximum measurement is 18". However, I have recently noticed the "COVRT M4 Shorty" on 5.11's website that has a length of 28.5" this may be better suited to your needs. I have not had any hands on with this bag and probably won't as I have no need at the moment. If you go for it please let me know how you find it. Sorry I can't be of more help. Regards, MKR.

Hi Bob, It is a pack stiffener. It really helps keep the pack in shape and any items that may poke in your back when carrying it. It comes out on mine but may be tight on yours.
