This duffel would have been perfect if it had one central shoulder strap instead of the backpack straps. I wonder if you could use one of those straps central on the grab handles?

It’s a game killer not being able to disconnect or at the very least stash away the shoulder straps. What was 5.11 thinking?!

I just put them to the side and tuck them under the side compression straps.

Trade out the backpack straps for a dedicated a shoulder strap, and I'd be down. The rest looks solid.

Honestly i would get this but i do prefer the double tap color rather then the all black/OD/(cant remember the exact name they give to the khaki color on this one. Its either kangaroo or sandstone?) So if they had it in double tap i would get it in a heartbeat for travel... might go with the RAPID duffle they have... would love to see a review on that one honestly.

Just bought one of these for £49.99 hope its genuine. Seems i got the last one from Kitbox. Should be here in a couple of hours. Just to put my shooting gear in. Edit: yes I've received it and its genuine. Its a nicely made bag. I wouldn't have wanted to pay full price of about £85 for it. It could do with some more pockets perhaps on the insides and yes removable straps would have been good idea along with a shoulder strap. Hopefully my 3 litre carbon will fit in it. Yes my 3 litre carbon bottle fits it.

This is on SERIOUS duffel. Might not work for the average "gray man" or subtle traveller. However, for my purposes this seems ideal. So, tired of Patagucci style bags that look good, but SUCK when it comes to carrying any weight along with all the other duffels do NOT have adequate straps. The duffel looks like it will work great for the truck to the campsite and would easily double for overnight or longer travel.
