5.2l V10 Audi S6 with resonators & mufflers deleted - Let's Hear It!

Thanks to Devin we have our first V10 for the Let’s Hear It series! He brought up his 2011 Audi S6, which has had the resonators and mufflers deleted. Revving out to upwards of 7k, this thing puts out an interesting report!

Thanks guys. Cool video. Same year as mine. FYI, that is a rare bird with only 159 imported to US, of which 78 were black and 68 black with black interiors per Audi Customer experience. Of course, rare doesn't always equal valuable! Love mine!!

I almost purchased one of these back in 2019 for under $5k! It was a clean title vehicle with about 140k highway miles and ran well. I passed on it like a dummy after bugging the man for 2 weeks only because I found a CLEAN PRESTINE 1992 Audi URS4 and told myself I could only have 1. I knew I could have both. I definitely could've purchased both at the time but my wife would have killed me. Well, so I thought because what's ironic is after purchasing the URS4, I bought a B6 S4 Avant 6mt and a E61 535xi Lci not too long after 🤦🏻‍♂️. I definitely regret missing out on this S6. I have the space and it would have looked nicely tucked in with all the other classic foreigns in the driveway! Don't even get me started about a "once upon a time" RS6 purchase 🙊👀. Lifes a trip sometimes lol. I've owned a lot of different vehicles that today If I had kept a few of them I'd be sitting on a gold mine 😂. We live and we learn 🍻

@@ElRayDelRio I don’t know how much you paid to for the urS4 , pretty sweet! Do you have an exhaust on it? little beast ! Lol it seems like you try to make a small collection of reasonable prices cool German cars. I was looking at b6 s4 sedan 6 mt. For fun and commuting in the city lol but I found a lot of them abused and under serviced knowing most owners were young kids with no money or expertise . I also looked at the e60 m5 back in 2019-2020 when they were like 10k for a decent one with 100k miles, but I didn’t know how to adjust the shifting of the SMG so it felt odd.i figured maybe later on I’ll give it another shot when I’m over the car I have now. I test drove the s6 and I will say if it wasn’t for the aesthetic appeal of the S8 V10 interior and exterior , I would have preferred the S6. The V10 felt more capable in that chassis , it felt much lighter and tighter for braking/cornering.

@@christian_urocar no worries. I actually paid $6500. Again, this was right before the pandemic took place torwards the end of 2019. From San Diego Ca I drove towards Reno Nv to meet the seller and I immediately deposited $1000 to his account via PayPal and covered all fees without hesitation to lock the deal in! When I arrived, I seen the URS4, a casa blanca B5 S4 6mt w/100k miles, and a low mileage garaged E46 M3. Think it had like 8k miles, maybe less! The seller tried reasoning with me as we went for a drive in the URS4 as he regretted listing the vehicle and wanted to instead sell me the B5 for the same price but I passed on it as I already owned a stage 3 silver metallic B5 S4 w/120k miles. He was definitely pretty heart broken that I refused and sad to see the URS4 go but he knew it was coming to a good home and unfortunately he was liquidating. We left with the Nevada classic vehicle plate still intact and brought her back home to Cali where I had installed a catless downpipe, ABT stainless catback exhaust, ABT lowering springs, Gen 2 GTX3076R K26 turbocharger, OG Sweeden tubular manifold, supporting mods, and some 18x9 wheels from a B8 A5. Did I mention it's a 6 speed! I would not sell even if I was offered 20 grand! I would rather sell my B5 and B6 S4 👀🤑🤝🏼

@@christian_urocar yea I have a thing for these old euros. I also have a E36 318is 5sp that's been reliable as hell for the year and mileage it has. Funny you mentioned that most the B6 S4s are beat to hell. I had found my Avant this way. Paid 4grand for it and brought it down from northern cal. Being a 6 speed I knew it was worth it even though I went in on a hunch why it wouldn't stay running and misfire. After replacing fuel pump, injectors, plugs, coils, deleting the muffler and installing new wheels, she's been a blast to drive with the fam. The E61 however is a whole different animal with the N54. I brought that one from Colorado and all in was under $8k! Its a 2008 535xi Lci with all the cool options. A gem bro for sure. Even when I got the carfax it showed it retailed for near 12k!

This sounds amazing! I bought an S6 V10 recently and would love to hear it scream a bit more. Have considered a resonator and muffler delete. Were emissions outputs affected at all? Have you got any footage of the job underneath and advice on how to do it?
