With the ak101 you could pretty much snipe, since muzzle velocity has been better than most if not all meta m4a1 builds. This has dropped off since recent ballistic changes but technically nowadays its the only "good thing" it has over other 556 guns, the hitscan muzzle speed.

Wrong only 5.45 guns U should use are the rpk and ak12 they have the best moa out of all 5.45 guns and the highest fire rate of all 5.45 rifles also cost 50k for rpk or 30k for ak 12 Extremely accurate cheap for meta builds and fire rate to compete with smgs and m4s

The AK-101 has lower recoil by default with no extra attachments compared to the 5.45 AKs as far as i know

7.62x39 also got a buff but I find a lot of pp and bp ammo this wipe for 5.45

The g36c is a better gun than most modded aks. Low recoil, faster rate of fire. Sure 5.45 and 7.62 do more pen and damage, but it doesn’t matter if you already head tap people.

*800 RPM M4 outclasses the AK at CQC sure, but AK is cheaper and more available. Plus the recoil seems a lot more controllable and flat shooting vs the M4 which kicks quite a lot in a spray even with a max recoil build.

BSG: We want people to use 5.45 AK's more Also BSG: *"Still no access to buying 5.45 BS or Igolnik, AND we won't even let you buy BP ammo. You have to craft 120 every 9 hours after doing 100 streets tasks..."* Also BSG; We don't like the MDR, OR SA-58 meta, so instead of allowing you to get better ammo for other guns to make other guns meta, we just nerf the fuck out of 7.62x51 automatic guns... So now there are even less "meta" guns making the late wipe guns more boring with less options!

Good Riddance, the MDR should have never existed the way it was the last two patches. Sorry but a fully automatic, fully suppressed, high ergo, very low recoil gun that shoots one of the most widely available and most powerful caliber rounds in the entire game was absolutely busted. It was leaps and bounds above every other gun as a simple default loadout from traders, combine it with the CQCM physics defying mask and now you literally can't get headshot by every common bullet in the game except for meta ammo that you pray doesn't magically ricochet. Also, I don't think you've been paying attention to 5.45 bullet prices. BT rounds are some of the best priced rounds in the game right now for the performance they deliver. High damage and good enough pen to get through most armor in a couple shots for roughly 300-400 roubles less than any other "meta" bullets from other calibers. 5.45 is absolutely one of the best calibers to use right now if you want to save roubles while still having great stopping power.

The stats barely matter, every gun has hidden stats. Hell, the AkS74UB is better than the normal one.

I'm not doing any of this ugly shit to my AKs. Don't care about the stupid numbers either. Bullets come out the front (roughly), that's all I need.
