I work at one of these as my part-time, just weekend breakfast service. I'm not a halibut fan, I find it gets tough when fried. I think it's better off grilled. I do like the haddock and cod, though.

The really bad thing about Halibut House is that their tarter sauce is not homemade!!! Their food is not bad, the coleslaw needs some work, but they can't make their own tarter sauce, come on! Always avoid Fish & Chip places that dont make their own tarter sauce!

Actually, they do have a house made tartar sauce. You do have to ask for it, or they just give you the packaged ones.
