Honestly, the dude is probably use to it by now in life and that is why it didn't faze him. He is a short asian dude on a basket ball court. I do agree, he has skill and deserves to be where he is.

Panda 592 This. Plus, it's pathetic to mock someone who worked so hard to get on that court, who had the odds against him, from the bleachers when I bet some of them want to be on that court. It's like a fat chick making fun of a short guy who's working out to compensate for his height. The short guy can't control his height, but your fat lazy ass can control your weight and you do nothing about it so you waste time bringing other people down, who actually are bettering themselves, because deep down she is jealous of that drive and uses her taunts to make herself feel better.

As a baller who's same height as Yuuki the sad reality is that since at the college level 5'11 is already considered short, Yuuki's amazing talent will get overshadowed college scouts who already rarely select players at or under 6 feet unless they are phenomenal athletes (ex. Chris Paul, Kyle Lowry, IT4, Nate Robinson). However there is a chance that a D3 college might take him if he has high academic standing.
@frankem48377 жыл бұрын
Dont.look.in.the.closet.09 he might grow if he keeps on playing. Michael Jordan was 5'6" and grew from high school ... Maybe🤔 then he may have a huge chance
@re1ive4567 жыл бұрын
Yea, maybe if he grows his talents will be better noticed, however Jordan was dominating before his growth spurt and his growth spurt added to his pre-existing dominance. Yuuki is not exactly a game changer at the moment, but you are right that a growth spurt may land him a solid spot on a D2 or if he gets really good and has a little luck, a backup PG for D1.

Just watching these idiots mock a player for his height shows to me that they're not true basketball fans. A true basketball fan would know that as long as you have the right skills with great IQ and awareness, you don't need height in order to succeed. Don't believe me? Let's look at a few players who succeeded in the NBA while being under 6 feet tall. Isaiah Thomas 5'10, a great point guard to this day with a lot of potential. Nate Robinson 5'9, has made excellent dunks and even blocked LeBron James once. Spud Webb 5'6, known for winning the dunk contest against Dominique Wilkins and Michael Jordan. And do I even need to bring up friggin' Muggsy Bogues 5'3, the shortest NBA player to date known for his awesome speed, passing, and steals. While height may be something that can assist a player, players like them have proven you don't need it to succeed. These idiots deserved to be shut up; get that trash out of the stands.

Height doesn't matter at all in high school, it matters a little in college, and it matters a whole fucking lot in the NBA. Naming 4 or 5 guys who were great players despite their height is in no way evidence that height does not matter in the NBA. Show me a little guy who found professional success in basketball, and I'll show you tens of thousands of others who didn't make it and never stood a fucking chance specifically because of their height. It's not as important as most people think, but the importance of height is a hell of a lot closer to the general opinion than your opinion. If you disagree present me with your credentials; I'm expecting to find out you're a top NBA scout. Otherwise I'll point to all the top NBA scouts who'd say you're full of shit.

Niy Love Nizzy This is high school, you've been to h.s right? They are immature KIDS. They'll look back at 25 and think that it was wrong. Not now.

At 4:53 number 23 travels. Very easy to miss as most rookie officials do. Moves his pivot to dribble through legs. College calls this and high school and pro’s don’t.

The scoreboard at the bottom is wrong. It gave points to the wrong team and would switch here and there

thats not how height works. It's genetics he can't control. Not everybody goes from 5 feet age 13 to 6 feet age 16

The asians don't usually grow to 6 feet. We grow average maximum at 5'10. But many are between and 5'8 and 5'4

As a girl standing at 6ft who has played with guys that are shorter, even 5'3", on mixed gender teams, this is so stupid. Your skill isn't determined by height.
