I also dont like himalayan. Agreed with you . V strom is great. Yesterday tried cornering and it was so smooth and slick. No problem in traffic also and on highway this bike feels light as feather.

Does the leg guard work as a protection if the bike falls. I am seeing everyone putting on the after market crash guard for the bike but i personally don't like it as it increases the weight of the bike by quite a bit what do u suggest?

810 mm seat height assembly available for this bike ........ I am 5:6 ..... I tested 810mm 👍 One lag full flat and another finger of toe I checked with chappal....... 😀 With riding shoes...... 👍Easy ✅ One think this is not for off-road bike ..... It's for highway ride 😀

lower seat will mess up the whole riding dynamics. even with lower seat, not good for 5'6. But it wont cost anything if one visit showroom and take test ride.👍

Check Himalayan ride review. Coming to your question, i found it interesting. 1. It's personal preference ( i prefer lighter sporty bike over metal and vintage,for my next vehicle after apache) 2. Multiple owners issue with spare parts and built quality 3. It's more of a off-road vehicle ,with spoke wheels, prone to punctures and much of a headache. 4. It's a mainstream vehicle, nothing new on road, absence of 6th gear, it feels on highway. 5. Suzuki engine over Royan Enfield ,always. . . So yes, there are many reasons, doesn't mean i don't like Himalayan, i love every single ride, irrespective of shape and price.
