5.7 Swiss Arete P4 - Mt. Sill, July 2022
I don't know why that first move seemed so challenging. If I had just stepped up a little higher, it would have been just a step over and not a long ride on the struggle bus.
This was pitch 4, the "crux" of the route. Definitely felt some rope drag at the top. Route was overall pretty cruiser and lots of fun. High quality rock, amazing views!

after that step around you went up those cracks right in front of you, I've read a few trip reports about some other cracks around the corner to the right. What way would you say is "best"

I didn't have a chance to check out what was around the corner unfortunately. I was excited for the crack I ended up on. In the video it looks like there may be some options to go around - my only concern would be additional rope drag later in the pitch. So if you're thinking of linking it up I would back clean the piece I put in, or possibly a double length sling.

@@peteontherock good point on the rope drag, I want to do this route this summer, with the winter we are having in CA it may be a snow climb all the way up!
