Well, glad to hear that you figured out what those sensors were for. I hope you don't throw them out. Keep them so the next owner can keep them for future owners and the proof of the car's history.

If you ask who Todd Warren is, he is huge in the mod motor world. Customer cars hold the na 2v records, and run 9s on stock heads.

Cool and interesting info. on those head sensors. The mod national coverage on the GT500 turbo track days, and the newest 24 version of El choppo motor build.

What exactly was done to the other GT500 when it blew up? How much power were you pushing before motor work?

Question, what changed with compression and boost? Why can you run 10.1 compression on decent boost these days? Out of the game for a while. Have a built motor 02 GT with 8.8.1 compression 15lbs of boost 530rwhp. When built I was told to keep compression below 9.1??

Coyote was the game changer. Gen 3 Coyote is 12:1 and handles boost really well.

@MustangLifestyleTV the technology in them like dual fuel and vct allow this. Fuel has also gotten alot better than it used to be and we have e85 now something that wasn't as common 20+ years ago ppl ran lower compression so they could run more boost safer on pump gas. The 12:1 coyotes can't run much boost on 93 they have issues with knock when running certain kinds of lower quality fuel. The main thing is the fuel has really improved but also the tech the coyote has helps it run higher compression.

The newer cars have tech like vct and dual fuel that help it run more compression and fuel has also gotten better plus people run e85 alot more commonly nowadays.

@@midnight347 yes coyote and vct helps as well. Specifically talking 4.6, 5.4, 5.8 modular, people were afraid of higher compression from the old school days of fox bodies with distributors and not very precise spark control. Lower compression gives more error window for spark especially with boost. Now for something high boost I wouldn’t build a 12:1 compression setup. But for 20-30 psi a 10:5 or 11:1 setup can make great power and not need an overwhelming amount of boost to get there.

I’ve also got those ports on my Preproduction 2KR cylinder heads also. I think I’m going to have it welded up when they go out to be worked over.

Dumps off the headers to come like el choppo again? Also, staying stock ecu? As well, is this car a very low VIN number if I had to guess? (Don’t recall if been said before) Sorry for the few questions, but, it’s cool to see manufacturer test cars and what they changed to production models

How come you’re not using modular head-shop? Is it an availability issue? I’m looking to get some work done there. I’m just wondering why you’re not using them?

Hey, idk if you'll ever see this, but I really want to get into a 14 Shelby in the next year or so, currently have a 10 second whipple 14 gt, and I was just curious how hard it really is to get parts and what not for the shelbys, alot of people are telling me to avoid them because several parts aren't made anymore, but others are saying there's several companies that make those specific parts for the trinity's and I see obviously you decided to get back into a trinity car, what are your thoughts on them and part availability, do you think we'll still be able to get new parts for them 3-5 years down the line or is it kind of a hurry up and do it while you still can kind of thing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you

My car has exactly the same parts on my dropin engine rebuilt but the piston and rings but my rods are h beam manley. Can u tell me what is my limit on in terms of power? 127 carbon jlt, 2.4 upper with idler, vmp 67 tb, cat delete, id 1050 , kb bp and cat back and bj from venomus on the tune i should expect 750 whp on pump gas or not?
@AllThingsBoost
@AllThingsBoost 2 ай бұрын
On 93 you'll end up high 600s and maybe crack the 700hp mark. Also tuned by Bj. If you up the boost with a 10% and run octane booster, you'll clear 750-770 fairly easily.
@tubacobra

@@AllThingsBoost are u sure? Cause on jlt 123 and 2.4 upper and tb 67 only the car made 660 my car is 2013 5.8! Am now am on id 1050 and kenne bell pump boosters and bigger 127 jlt carbon intake!
@AllThingsBoost
@AllThingsBoost 2 ай бұрын
@@tubacobra I'm not sure. Educated guess. If you made 660, that's within reason or the mods. Talk with your tuner about how to reach your goals. He'll get you sorted out.
