I'm hoping to build my dream truck within the next couple years and your video helped me pick which engine I'm gonna put in it. I was gonna go with an early 24 valve but the 12 valve sounds like a better fit. Any advice for pairing a 96 or 97 12 valve to an 01-05 Allison auto 5 speed? I'm wanting to put that combo in an 04-2010 F-350 and any advice is greatly appreciated! Edit: Haven't made up my mind which body style I want just yet but I have it narrowed down to the 04-07 or 08-10 so if one would be easier to work on etc than the other I'll more than likely go with it

@@8020Media hey! Yeah I'm talking about the 5.9 3rd Gen. People tell me that the stock fuel filtration isn't amazing, which can lead to injector failure. People recommend aftermarket fuel filtration to make sure clean diesel is getting to the injectors. Not sure if it's worth it or not.

I don't know anything about these engines. Based on the information you provide I'd have to say a 2002 5.9 VP 44 24 valve mounted in a 35 foot motorhome will be a dog running uphill. I'm looking at a clean rig but it's probably a snail even on flatland.
