So here I am, cleaning records and watching your video on my iPad with my Bose Quiet Comfort head phones, and I am cleaning out debris in the spindle hole with a razor utility knife and you start talking about the record reamer… to funny, I should probably order one 😂🤣

The Reamer is what comes with the Nagra Reference! I didn’t know where it came from, nice! It’s very useful.

Always enjoy these. My favorite record brush is the Analog Relax Anti Static Brush. It uses 0.03 mm fibers which measures less than the width of a standard record groove so it does an outstanding job cleaning the record surface. It's also the only brush I've ever owned that has never scratched a record. Haven't used a Ramar, but many of the brushes I've owned that use carbon fiber, goat hair, etc. will, over many uses, leave micro-fine scratches (which luckily are inaudible) on my some of my records. Not so with the Analog Relax brush.

The reamer has been a trusty companion over the last couple of years. All those QRP presses aren’t going to ream themselves you know😂

+1 on both the reamer and NAB adaptors. I went through several NAB adapters before finding these.

Danny - Hope you have a great New Year. I think you’ve recommended Ramar two Holiday Seasons in a row? Seeing this, I just ordered me a “Tina”. Looking forward to its arrival in a month. I also recently got to listen to Wilson’s Sabrina X. It was awesome. Do you know if Wilson is going to add V material and replace the current Yvette. If yes, would it be worth the wait for this new product? Thank you.
@SonicFlare10 ай бұрын
Tina for the win! Glad you had a chance to listen to Sabrina! Honestly, no clue on Wilson’s roadmap… that said, Yvette has been around for a while!
@KRay-km8hh10 ай бұрын
Thanks Danny. I appreciate your perspective and opinion. As such, is the V material as big of improvement as has been reported? The reviews I’ve seen of the Sasha V indicate it is a big leap from the Sasha DAW.
@SonicFlare10 ай бұрын
There’s a video - I can’t recall which outlet … it was an interview with Daryl where he does the knuckle test on each of the different materials and you can certainly hear the characteristics of V vs the others… While I haven’t been able to make any like for like comparisons it stands to reason that V has certainly improved upon the previous revisions… I think you’ll be quite pleased with any of their speakers, and Sasha V might be the perfect desert island speaker of their lineup!

Do I really need a record reemer?? It sounds like this video was a 12 minute commercial about these products Did you go out and buy these products or were you given them to advertise? It’s too bad when channels that started with good content start schilling for advertisers!
@SonicFlare11 ай бұрын
I get everything for free. All free. Free food, free shoes, free car, free house. Best of all, I live rent free in your head! If I were given these products for free, I would have said so. If this was paid advertisement, I would have said so. Maybe go harass some other and far more obvious “advertiser” channels.
