I tried both Nixoderm(green) and bioshield, from my experience, It's opposite from what I was expected. The nixoderm act more gentle and didn't dried up my skin , while Bioshield dried up my skin. I'm using both for my shower too. Nixoderm really works for my body odour, like I don't need any deodorant at all !

Ooh, never seen the nixoderm soap but I did find the bio shield soap at my local watson. Maybe can buy it online. The nixoderm ointment was my holy grail during uni time. Really works with my acne during that time and also when my skin itchy due to allergy

Never knew there is nixoderm soap. I remember 10+ years ago my dad use to use this green tub cream that appears to be nioderm whenever he have ance on his back. Back then i brought him oxy 10 but he swear by his own green tub.

FYI, have to depend on your skin condition, if your skin more to have excess sebum and come with small small acne, oily face, you may try adapelen for your treatment, if your are suffering from acne with single dot dot on the face, and more to normal and dry skin, you may try using this nixoderm or other like benzoy, antibiotic (clindamycin/fusidic acid), and apply on spot area) (pls don't apply as whole face ya)

@@Ketrah256 cause normally benzyl peroxide surely will darken the spot area you applied, after you stop applying, the dark spot will faded slowly one. May use chemical exfoliate product like salicylic acid, aha, adapalene, or further using vitamin c/niacinamide on the spot area. For me vitamin c are very good to heal this (you may try melano cc, since this product a little bit oily, just apply on spot area, and apply it during night since vitamin c have to avoid from daylight/sun)

It is sebaceous filaments.. use some aha or bha for example , lactic acid, salicylic acid and etc.. no cetaphil gentle skin cleanser does not help ( my experience)

Should be able because gentle skin cleanser is supposed to be suitable for all skin types. I have dry sensitive skin but i wear oily make up and dry reapplying my sunscreen multiple times daily. Some days in the month my skin can get kinda oily at t zone. Especially my nose. The dermatologist in SGH recommended i use gentle skin cleanser to wash my face twice. Similar to double cleanse but i only wash 2 times with Cetaphil. Key is never let cleanser stay on skin for more than 30 seconds. 1st wash is remove any dirt, make up. 2nd wash is deeper into pores.

Since your skin is normal and oily, not really recommended for using cetaphil as your cleanser, but you may use this morning face wash, and use other stronger cleaning face wash for your night routine

It may too harsh to your skin ya, since there is different acid combined using, may damage your external layer of your skin, you may using the acid cleanser at the morning routine with simple moisture , and using mild cleanser at the night and apply azelaic acid be4 sleep

The soap only can take out the dirt and oil of layer of your face only, you have to next with skin care routine (like applying adapalene, aha bha product, azelaic acid product,) which can minimise the excess oil from your oil glands

i feel like the 2.5% salicylic acid in the cream can be very irritating for dry skin but it depends so make sure u patch test on ur skin to see if u hv any bad reaction before u use it

Don't mix those 2 items, since there are 2 different acidic, may come with clindamycin gel (apply on pimple only)
