Fruit juices and several vegetable juices, especially carrot and tomato (apple, grape, banana & orange shouldn't even be in your vocabulary for weight loss) - these will actually cause a spike in your insulin and potentially cause weight gain (they most certainly will not help you to lose weight), due to the amount of concentrated sugars. You need the fiber to slow the insulin response... juicing is not natural & it will cause weight gain. Juicing machines were developed by marketers who want you to part with your money.

Apparently it doesn't void all of it. I was surprised to learn that even pasteurized honey still has a lot of the medicinal properties. Also it's raw honey that has the best benefits. You want to wait until the tea cools down to a lukewarm temperature before adding the raw honey. Heating honey over 95 degrees can destroy enzymes and nutrients in it. You also want to use Ceylon cinnamon which only contains small trace amounts of coumarin, a chemical compound that can cause liver damage in large enough doses. Cassia or Saigon cinnamon contains much higher amounts of coumarin.

In that case, perhaps adding a pinch of Cayenne pepper to the brew will act as a counterbalance since Cayenne is said to raise the blood pressure. But hey, I'm no expert 🤷♀️. Honey's benefits are ruined by combining it with boiling water. Let your tea cool to luke warm before adding honey.✌️🩵
@PhilLesh695 ай бұрын
Explain why: because when you heat it above 120 degrees F, you kill the qctive, live microbial life in the honey.
@becool_4445 ай бұрын
Hot should be ok as long as it’s not boiling otherwise raw honey won’t dissolve 🍯💕

do you think agave can be used instead? i’m vegan so can’t take honey

I'm a 106lbs. Have fatty liver and a decrease in Thryoid production. The fat I have is accumulating in the mid section. Very active. Thyroid is kicking my butt! Dealing with it for over 30 yrs and last yr I hit Hypothyroidism. Dropped my meds dramatically and have been physically paying for it. Labs change every 3 mths!

I have hypothyroidism as well and I'm wayyy more heavier than you...I never was on any type of medication because according 2 the Dr's my levels weren't that bad I said what but I'm always tired and I have picked up alot of weight. I can't lose this weight 4 nothing because with this disease the metabolism is slow. I'm sooooo over it it's really depressing.😢

@@4220EThat makes no sense. How were you diagnosed. Hypothyroidism isn’t diagnosed by symptoms alone.
@pat66014 ай бұрын
@@notovercomeEither your numbers are normal or they’re not. If your TSH is abnormal and you’re symptomatic, you will be treated. Just because your number is higher than before, it doesn’t mean anything until it’s out of range.

Dandelion greens, a 'staple' in places like Italy, raw in salads or steamed, etc--and now in US organic market. As a kid, heard how the greens were always used in salads; then, MANY during the Depression relied on finding them as greens were hard w/out a Victory garden. Kids learned to collect the greens, leave the root to grow more--since they spread; or took the root for soups + medicine. People didn't say where they found 'secret stashes'. So many uses. Post-war, chemical co needed market, so sold spraying + poisoning the 'demon dandelion' 'ruining' lawn. Dandelions help feed + aerate soil, hence the green leaves + roots' digging depth. Allowed to grow, dandelions may proliferate for awhile, but eventually fewer + fewer, as the soil near them benefits from greens + the roots work the soil. Seeds transport + wind spread keeps them going. Dandelions are messengers--signal soil can grow things, but is over worked/ depleted; too tight + condensed. Are edible if not near a street (traffic exhaust, etc) or other pollution.

Diabetic Type 2, 3rd week on IF 14:10, Fatigued, no motivation, stressed, and can't sit down for 1 minute before I start falling asleep! Walk 180 minutes per week, can't strength train because I have elbow tendinitis on both elbows, NOT depressed just angry and frustrated because it feels like I'm not getting any where. Still bloated, fatigued, achy, menopausal, I don't know how to motivate myself. I know for sure I'm not giving up! What can I do? Thank you so much for your wonderful videos.
