I just looked up Fast MoCap. I'm looking for something I can use with my Mac, and on Maya. This is pretty expensive, so does it work well? Can you vouch for it?

Perception neuron affordable? for whom exactly? not your avarage indie gamemakers or amateur moviemakers who work with blender or nuke/after effects. I mean, it is by fat the best in the list, but the kinect would be a better choice based on money = result.

I checked their website and their cheapest bundle seems to be $2000? Definitely not cheap but I would say it's somewhat affordable...not sure if it's a complete working bundle that can actually produce the result though, all those difference versions are confusing.

How the fuc , I have a kinect 2 hooked up to my pc, tried making stuff in unity, if my hands got to close to the body it would fuc up in 10000 galaxies and you mean to tell me that you can even simulate an axe swing, bullsh1t. bro I tried making a standing still animation, and somehow it still managed to glitch my feet 60% of times

A Kinect isn't used just for its camera, it's also for the depth sensors, something regular camera don't have.

I've done some work with the RealSense camera - capturing finger data. It works well for a $99.00 camera. The apps for motion capture are starting to trickle in, but so far I haven't seen anything for free, but have found a low-cost product - NI Mate which captures body, face, and some finger data as far as I can tell.

It is Creative Commons music. I created the list after researching the topic for my own project. I felt that it would be useful to others who were also researching mocaps. The video clips are from the hardware/software companies, however, I believe this is fair use.
