The folks at HTH shared your channel. I have subbed. Thank you for sharing. I grew up in the Cascade mountains, near Mt. Rainer. Worked in Cold Bay, AK as a 19 year old woman. Had to be tough to do that. When I turned 23 my Mama died and my Dad took his broken heart to Alaska and became an Alaskan bush pilot. That’s where I got my toughness. Love the channel!

Yup Fred it is a proven fact that the 1st night in the Bush on your holiday vacation you always drink too much. We used to go fishing in Canada and every time the 1st night in camp we all overdid it. I can tell you that my time in Canada one upon a time I drink so much I almost peeled all the Chrome of my buddy's trailer hitch yep We used to call Brown liquor Brown and that did it each and every time very funny and interesting episodes you've got here can't get enough. I would love to hear of Of your hunting and fishing trapping episodes as well I'm sure they're loaded with awesome content too!!

This was such a great encounter story! Wow, was that ever intense, eh?! I've heard stories about the Alaskan beasts. They're definitely different temperament than other places in the world, and I know they're different everywhere, but Alaska is a horse of different colour. I'd bet all I had on there being more than just Sasquatch up there too, based on some stories shared. Nothing to mess with. Can't believe those guys weren't even armed for bear. Wtf!? I wouldn't go anywhere in Alaska unarmed. Bet they never will again. Can't wait to see your documentary you mentioned. That's gonna be a good watch! Stay safe.

My oldest son moved up to Alaska nine years ago. He works in Anchorage at an all-seasons bike shop but spends a lot of time alone in parks and off away on mountains. I worry about him but he was always cautious as a farm boy and is retty physically capable. I don't think he packs a gun with him though he does know how to shoot, courtesy of his cousin who was stationed at Kodiak in the Coast Guard. I haven't spoken to my son in years---his choice--but I hope he takes care while having his adventures.😨

I'm getting a lot of good information from you, thank you. We had a lot of activity (noise mainly: whooping, wooing, whistling, screams, bird calls, wood knocks, and once talking) around here a year ago and not knowing anything about these creatures, but quietly observing, I've come to the same conclusions. Your information is vindicating. One showed itself to me one morning when I was out filling the bird feeder. It had to know I was out there. I slammed the door to the house behind me and the bird feeder is metal so that clanged shut. It heard me FOR SURE. It was in my neighbor's wood to my east standing in the brightly lit clearing. It stood there and let me stare at it as long as I wanted. The thought occurred to me that there might be another one coming up behind (just like you thought) so I scampered into the house and locked the door and grabbed my binoculars...it was gone. One early morning, in the 4 am hour, my dog and I were out in the back (me drinking coffee, he was doing his business). It was pitch black. This is before I was certain they were around. When the dog returned and hopped up on the deck there was a deep, gurgly growl RIGHT OFF THE DECK. That thing was within feet of me. We quickly backed into the house. NEVER will go out alone in the dark again. We put up 14 motion sensitive LED floods.

Scott carpenter says thats a effective way to keep them away from the house and cut all trees and large bushes back. Now how do you keep your dog protected? Or has your dog made new friends?
@obelus5985
@obelus5985 2 жыл бұрын
@@darrickmalloy6909 Thank you for the advice. We followed it...big time. We cut brush for weeks and piled it. It took 7 people and one tree service chipper a total of 8 hours to chip it all (made great mulch). I never worked so hard in my life all that time. But those things are motivating. I used a lot of it to make paths through our little wood so I have access to keep everything cut back. That took months and a lot of sweat. People say it looks like a state park. My dog does run to my neighbor's fence behind our barn almost as soon as we go outside. Their wood is not cleared. It's a tangled mess and that's where I clearly saw that one in the daytime. After finding out these things were around it was alarming. But now I wonder if they weren't making friends with him so he wouldn't bark like you suggest. They are creepy lurking around. I think the only reason they "befriend" people is because they want something. Food or worse. Thank the Lord, we haven't heard or seen them since last summer. Only one foot print in the early spring. It was a good one. I got a shot and sent it in to The Facts How to Hunt channel. I wish I could share it with you here. Thank you for your kindness in reply. It's good to talk about this awful experience freely.

@@obelus5985 believe it or not im a city dude but I have been listening to these channels for about 7 years and I believe we have to share any information we have to help each other. If your dog has a relationship with them I believe its because when they first encountered each other your dog was probably not aggressive it probably greeted it in a playful manner. I dont believe you get a chance to mend a relationship with them. How it starts is normally how it is. If I was the outdoorsman type at the beginning of the woods I would try to communicate either verbally or mindspeak let them know my intentions and explain the weapon is not to do them harm. If im taking something from the forrest whether its wood or something eatable I would establish a place in the woods that I could leave gifts like toys anything you made with your hands stones be creative. I would rather coexist than anything negative. Even if I had a bad experience before I would start shooting at them I would try to make things better first. Keep a eye on your dog.

@@darrickmalloy6909 I wrote you a long chatty answer yesterday and as I was proof reading it...poof! Disappeared. I often delete posts like this. What am I doing wrong? Agreed, the more information we share the better. One wonders how many people died because of the government coverup. If people were forewarned they could avoid these creatures for the most part. The dog OFTEN runs behind the barn to the fence line to my neighbor's natural wooded property. It's dark and creepy there. Did the Sasquatch give him snacks to keep him quiet? You're right he's not a barky aggressive type. And thank you for your wise words, we do try to keep an eye on him. My next door neighbor had a dog "gutted." They blamed their next door neighbor's dogs. But those two are fat, old and friendly. No way it was them. The dog that was killed was a pit bull. Draw your own conclusions. I did talk to them on several occasions...perhaps I was talking to myself (tee hee, who knows?). One morning I started a deer and I heard a disgusted grunt melting into a growl. Sounded like a grouchy old man. I said, "I'm sorry that I interrupted your hunt." Another time I saw red eye shine and said, "You know I can see you right?" I've also said, "I like the feathers." They've brought us gifts when they were emptying the bird feeder each night. Bundles of feathers (there's quite a collection now), decorative rocks (2 black, 2 white), once a beautiful butterfly wing and oddly tennis balls...lots of them. I don't want a relationship with them. They smell like homeless people. They creep and lurk about like stalkers. No thank you...yuck. Live and let live. They seem to have gone away and it's peaceful here now.

@@obelus5985 yes pits are very aggressive when it comes to their territory. Well at least your not being targeted by them. They must not realize how intense their presence is. Maybe let them know how they make you feel. I wonder why some smell and some don't. Let me ask you this? I have no experience with these beings but when you think they are using minkspeak to communicate with you is it your regular voice in your head. Mines sounds like me or my voice or is it a different voice any accent?

I was reading how the Mongols of the Middle Ages would use horns to create reverberating sounds in the 18-20 Hz range that incites fear and confusion. This would unnerve their enemies before battle and take the vigor out of them. I think that’s what these bastards are doing. They are using various tactics to cause sleep deprivation and a constant state of fear. That is an act of war, and they need to be taught a lesson. Just letting them put you on the defensive all the time does not discourage them from repeating their attacks on others over and over again.

That will cover it up. where you are you have leaders in the tribes, Elders that know and warn people about certain areas, here when a incident happens the men in black come and threaten you and tell you to say it was a bear, where you are they tell it like it is. It would be a great thing if all those who research this creature would put up and fund you, that is something I hope and pray for thank you for all that you're doing.

I’m at the part where the jet boat is up river and starting, stopping, going further away, coming back, turning on, off etc. So, before I go any further, I’m gonna take a guess, and say that these guys are tracking the Sasquatch! My theory is these things have chips/implants , and there are electronic barriers, (like they have for dogs, to keep them from leaving your yard.) There’s an invisible perimeter that’s set off, when the BFS get too close to the tourist area/people, and they send out the cavalry to chase them back into “their” territory! (Or take out the aggressive ones!) Just a theory, so now I’ll listen to the finish!👍🏼🦧

In my confrontation they tried to get my dog away from me “ Willie Boy” ! I put him inside and I came outside ? Back to a wall ! “ you touch my dog “ ? “ Someone is going to die”. That’s it they stared at me thru the open windows ! I left them open and ate w/ my dog ! And went to bed with the window open over the deck! I knew they would not come on the deck ! Makes to much noise! But thru the night the dog jumped up on the bed w/ me craning his neck ! All they did was hang around and they left !

Thanks for the video, have you ever tried communicating through thought with these clans? they are very intelligent they love gifts and will gift in return... imagine journying through the beautiful land without fear and friends to greet as you pass through... easier said than done I suppose, I feel these clan members are playing with you and your buddy, because that's what they do they are playful... you two would have never made it to the canoe if your lives were in danger, is what I get from your wonderful story.. anyhow thanks and good luck.. ohh they leave messages with sticks on the ground perhaps you never noticed? thanks again..

I've seen none of them "playing" more like something holding them back from what they wanted to do. They aren't my friend , friends do give you a primal fear even without a visual. They are no friend of mine and we would have nothing to be talking about.

@@darrickmalloy6909 I don't know how they do it, but I know from experience that they send that fear to you. (It's the worse fear you've ever felt in your life, times 10.) And, after dealing with them for over 25 years, and learning to co-exist on our land based on territorial bounds, I can tell you that they are NOT the docile, warm and fuzzy, characters that you fantasize about. They are smart, apex predators, and the males can be unpredictable and violent, so it's best to avoid them. The only purposeful interaction we have is leaving them baskets of our unsellable vegetables in a basket, raised up an old post. This started about 20 years ago, when they'd raid our field and gardens at night. I guess you could say, we made a deal, that they devised. (It was a couple, who had young children at the time, so I admit that we felt a little bad for them too.) Other than that, we avoid them, and stay far away from their home area. (a steep, rocky area, where they live, in shallow caves) We also have a 3 acre pond, that we avoid, because they throw rocks at us.. They believe it's theirs (which it probably is. They were here long before people settled here.), and that's fine. We still ice fish there in the Winter, because they're only here Spring-Fall. We live off the land, and have to harvest trees for firewood. We learned never to go alone, and we're always prepared to defend ourselves. We also have moose (can be dangerous), and predators like black bear, coyotes, mountain lions, and smaller creatures, and farm animals to keep safe. Anyway, I just wanted to make sure you understood that they're not harmless, and they all have different personalities, like we do. I believe that some are opportunists, that will grab a humans for food, if they're alone. And, I believe that's what's behind some of the missing persons cases. That's why I advise family and friends, never to go into the woods alone or without a f-arm. Stay safe.

I imagine it has to be a Big Bore Rifle and large Caliber Handgun. I was thinking a 444 Marlin would be a good Rifle, just because you can reload easily while Shooting.
