Any OG Jordan 1 high color way will hold its value well. What I love about Jordan 1, my favorite sneaker, is the sole doesn’t crumble and they look better worn.

I think the problem with these iconic colourways is that Jordan Brand can't keep releasing more if people expect these to hold their value. This is especially going to be true for the Chicagos if Jordan releases those in the '85 cut. Every shoe has a lifespan depending on how well you take care of them, how often you wear there, and if you use sole and toebox protectors. After a few wears they should be broken in.
