I bought this cable for my G502. I had high hopes and at the same time low expectations. I'm glad to say that my expectations were exceeded. While handling the cable, it didn't seem like much, but once installed, it does make a huge difference compared to the stiff original cable of the G502. If you pull the paracord taught, it gets stiff too, so you sort of have to pull most of the paracord to the mouse end, so ~40% of that end of the cable is nice and loose. I also installed new mouse feet and now it really feels almost wireless.. CAUTION: You HAVE TO make sure that the wiring is correct for your mouse. There are plenty of reviews on the aliexpress page stating their mouse went up in smoke. Getting the wires out of the plug can be somewhat tedious but nothing impossible. I did notice on the sellers store page that atleast for the G502, there is this same cable specifically for it, prewired correctly, costs like 50 cents extra I think, but it's only in black.

Idk. Most of my friends who got their paracords right after me, after I showed them this video had no issue with flexibility. What I found out, you need to set up cable in the right way especially heat shrink to get a good flex. Tbh, I met more satisfy disappointed people with presented cable

i was wondering if anyone used this in a viper mini and thought the heatshrink part of the cable was too short? i saw a review of someone installing it in the rvm, it looked like their heatshrink was inside the mouse n like only a millimeter of heatshrink thats showing. is that a concern for durability?

I put some additional headshrinkers. Make sure not to tighten the cable before worming them up. Otherwise your paracord will remain less flexible.

The original viper mini cable is way better than original rubber zowie cable. However, aliexpress paracord easily beats most default cables, including Viper mini one

Hey so I found another cable in the store you linked, it looks like its made specifically for logitech mices as it has the plastic stress relief already on the cable. I'm wondering if you would recommend it over the one you have? I got a g403, and it should fit it in theory. It's hard to judge through the photo but look's better than the original. However, with original relief, you might have less control over the flexibility of the cable.

I made it out of an old rubber zowie cable. I removed grounding and the rubber cover and drag the cables through the paracord itself. No soldering When it comes to the price of paracablemods. for me, it's just not worth it (especially with 5$ aliexpress paracord which is very simmular). I have almost 20 miles to paracord so high-end paracord cables for all of them would cost a fortune.
