This hot summer i was wearing Dolce Amalfi 💛 a lot! When the temperature is rock high this gem is amazing.. It is in my top 3 right now, so so beautiful. Sweet and spicy and i am happy cause on my skin its there foe around 7 to 8 hours Much love from Amsterdam

I just received Dolce Amalfi. It is really nice. I am debating whether to wear it to my nephew’s wedding in a couple of weeks. It is summer here, but it’s in doers. What would you do Marcelo 😂? Was also debating that maybe I wear Bois 1920 Classsic Paradise

The Wet Stone fragrance sounds a delight to me. I really want to find a nice spring time oud fragrance. I've found plenty that cater for the cool weather so a spring time oud is something I must give a go. Love the short stories of your travels. I must say I never enjoyed ice cream or anything of the sort till I went to Italy and tried gelato. Now i think i have a bit of an addiction to pistachio gelato.

Yep, I would test out Wet Stone, this one is a winner....not your traditional Oud fragrance and yet not also your traditional Aquatic fragrance either. A very clever composition. Thanks for your comments Ollie and yes there's nothing quite like gelato from Italy (not from the 'tourist locations' but the real thing...it's the best!😋)

I just got full bottle of Dolce Amalfi :) I absolutely love it! And aslo, do not agree with the "tutti fruity comparison. And just like you, I go nose blind to it. I had the same experience with Dama Bianka, which I can't smell after 2h - 3h, and I LOVE IT so much. In Amalfi I get green apple + quince with spices at the beginning and then it beautifully dries down to spice and warms. It'll be perfect for summer, as I gravitate towards sweet, gourmand and beastly perfumes, so it's nice to have something lighter in my collection :)

Totally agree with your take on Aventus. The unfortunate thing about Aventus is that it smells so good but comes at such a high (price) barrier to entry that it breeds several types of hate towards it. Whereas if Aventus were to smell bad and not mass appealing, no one will hate it as no one would be affected by its high price since no one would demand for it. So the fact that it smells great, created a lot of interest for it which will eventually be let down by its price, leading to a lot of those dismayed Aventus seekers to despise the fragrance. The high price for Aventus also breeds another group of haters, the buyers remorse group.. those who managed to buy Aventus but then regretted it because they feel like they could’ve spent the money to get a few good fragrances instead of banking their money on just 1 Aventus.. And then there is another more toxic type of Aventus hater who’ve never even smelled the real Aventus and judged it based on clones of Aventus.. to these lot I can only shake my head and wish them the best in life.. PS/ you need to get your nose on Clive Christian 20th Anniversary Masculine (its still available to purchase from some shops) and Amouroud’s Lunar Vetiver. Excellent performance in hot weather.

Would you believe I never saw your take on Aventus 🤦🏽‍♂️ all that came up was the ‘PS’ part, not realizing that you shared some awesome thoughts on Aventus, which you summarized perfectly. I love the 3 break up and have to agree. I’m clearly in the top category, with the exception that there’s no regrets…big fan and always promoting/sharing with family and friends on this beauty. Its such a winner frag for men Ah nice.. for me the 20th Annv Clive Christian smells the best on its further drydown after the vetiver phase of the frag. When the citrus scent in the opening and mid makes a 2nd appearance 5hrs later and melds perfectly with the vetiver and cedar.. its top bins.. and here’s a bonus tip for those flying through heathrow airport, their dutyfree is clearing their entire Clive Christian collection at 25%ish off (and at no VAT mind you!) and they still have stock for the 20th Anniversary ones.

Yes, Aventus is what "dying of success" looks like. But it is to masculine perfumery in its first decade what Chanel No. 5 was to feminine perfumery in its first decade. With the exception that the Chanel didn't die of its success probably because of a lack of social media (my guess).

Lol, I was wondering "why is he featuring warm weather frags in late October?" then I remembered you're down under. Aventus is King. I have a sample decant of Gentle Fluidity Silver, but didn't know there is a masculine and feminine version. Don't know which I have. I like it after one test wearing. I remember thinking it's one of those perfect office scents. And I've never tried Wet Stone despite hearing about it, but the name alone evokes imagery of an "after the rain" smell. And speaking of "after the rain" smells, that's what I think Roja Oceania is.

It's funny because on some earlier videos, I had people comment "why is he wearing a jacket and turtle neck in this weather!".....ummm, cos it's winter here in Melbourne😂🤔 I've discovered that my 2 big audience is the US and Australia and want to make sure that I speak to both hemispheres💪🏽 Gentle Fluidity is amazing; it's instant love. And yes, same ingredients but 2 different compositions to create a silhouette of the fragrance; one for man, one for woman....love the artistry! I need to try Oceania....big fan of Roja, but haven't had a chance to experience this one yet (next on the list!) Great to hear from you James👊🏼

Yes, I find that it's always a tight competition between Aventus and Hacivat. The funny thing for me is that my wife instantly loves Aventus when I'm wearing it, but with Hacivat she loves the opening but not so much the dry down (makes me sad because I love Hacivat)....and I've found that others are in a similar boat with Hacivat and their wives🤔 Great to hear from you Adz👊🏼

Yes, I've had the chance to test Sutton Place and loved it....I'm yet to experience Cooper Square, our Aussie distributor has an awesome collection but not all of them (the Bond No.9 library is huge!). I'm dreaming of traveling again and bucket list place is the Bond No.9 flagship store in Manhattan! @@seanp7871 I love Newcastle. I go there every year to film for a client (well actually, every year pre-COVID😩). I love the gelato store near the old cinema (Popolo)....this is identical to a true Italian gelato (I love it!)....I find that the food scene in Newcastle is amazing😋
