Love 1888 . Got the older bottle too. Tolu balsam . Waxy ; didn't know . Thank you . The box does look like a fresh summer scent . Will sample .

I can see the apple brandy a bit. I also got some similarities to creed spice and wood; and byredo eleventh hour . It's a fall scent for sure .

First time i don't agree with you. For me it's a spring scent (for sunny warm day). Fall & winter too dark for this happy sunny scent (wrong mood, especially for colder climate). And By Kilian scents very boozy (at least about 50%), when this guy fruity-spicy (apple-vanilla, tolu and clove 90% of this) and not boozy at all. Daytime spring and not hot summer days shiny scent for me.

Yeah I mentioned they were only similar note wise. It’s not boozy at all. This one isn’t supposed to be boozy. Definitely to heavy for warm weather but, that’s the beauty of the hobby. We all have our own opinions.
