That is great. The stoics do have a lot to offer. I have Seneca's letters right next to me. I would love to hear what you are reading and inspired by. All that is to say, while their pursuit of virtue is admirable, the reason (the why) behind the pursuit is very different in comparison to Catholic men. We have to be cautious about a white-knuckle approach to growing in virtue because ultimately it is God's grace that will get us there.
