The more of them there are, the more idiotic the battles become. Whether it's arachnotrons blocking each other's shots and refusing to move, to zombiemen mowing down rows of other zombiemen in front of them.

I would love to see *Revenants vs. Cyberdemon,* with it ending with 10 or 15 Cybers vs. 100 or 200 Revenants. I love Big Battles, I cannot lie. I would love to see a Cyber obliterated in a second from a wave of Revenant missiles.

I hope in future retrobattles we can see some rematches with friendly fire turned off (if it's possible). That will make things very interesting especially with chaingunners against higher tier enemies

Again for these 1000 Zombiemen fights...its (1000 ZM Vs 1000 ZM) Vs 10 Arachnotrons. They slaughtered themselves incredibly fast....in a way, its not really a fair assessment based on that..even though its in their program to kill each other...I wonder how all our games would have played out if enemies were at least just immune to themselves.

The Zombiemen are zombies after all. The fact that they can even hit anything is impressive.

@@aaronhebert7092 -I was watching a documentary just tonight of Lawrence of Arabia...they showed a clip of a camel straining under some weight...he made the exact same pained groan a zombieman makes when he dies.. "UUUAAAHHHHHAAUUUGG!"

Zombiemen aren't simply the worst monster in Doom, they're one of the worst in video games in general. Even the skeletons in Castlevania pose more of a threat.

Did you watch the video? The Zombie Men did really well and they did far better than the Spider Mastermind, which both the Zombie Men and Arachnotrons beat in their respective videos.

One zombieman sure, but lots of them are very deadly, way more deadly than you give them credit for. A large group of zombieman can absolutely kill you quickly if your stuck out in the open with nowhere to hide.

I might argue that the Zombiemen is the most powerful enemy in all of Doom history. In numbers, they are simply unstoppable.

Zombiemen are threatening when well positioned actually, at least to the player. Doom 2’s level 15 sees them at there best; they will wear your health down very fast and theres pretty inadequete cover between the buildings giving the zombiemen plenty of chances to get a pot shot. It really boils down to monster positioning in doom, these fights have no good positioning in them so only a monsters raw performance comes into play, which the zombieman is a bit weak at. Edit: to clarify to they need to be in large numbers.

On Nightmare mode, Zombiemen prove why a horde can be deadly. Otherwise, they're kinda like meh.
