besides the great usage tips for the arp, my main take away was the legato button to fill a pattern, didn't know about that (only been using Live since 2014 🤯🤯🙄🙄😂😂)

@@sonicbloomtutsHa yeah, I found myself saying that out loud at one point in the vid, I think it was the simplicity of the "trap hats" idea with multiple arpeggiators on different divisions, and the 'humanisation' trick of loading a few hat samples in to a rack Combining those two tricks - where each pad is a rack itself - nested racks! - would lead one to an "Ooooh!" realisation! 🙂
@sonicbloomtuts Жыл бұрын
@@EannaButler Yes, exactly. Combine several of the tricks together and you can do so many cool things. The two hi-hat tricks plus some automation to fine tune... :)

I will never understand why Ableton does not let us set velocity decay time in sync with the BPM.
@sonicbloomtuts Жыл бұрын
That would definitely be a useful feature for sure. We could still calculate the right decay time that fits the BPM, but synced would be way more convenient.
@KorhanErel Жыл бұрын
@@sonicbloomtuts definitely more useful than having to calculate. It would take an Ableton programmer probably 5 minutes to add this, as it's a code segment that's used all over the place in Live, even in the arpeggiator itself.

@@sonicbloomtuts on the other hand, I like the fact that it can go up to 60 seconds.

@@KorhanErel It's not the devs making the decisions. If you're a beta tester, make a thread in Centercode and I'm sure you'd get upvotes. Hopefully enough to get it implemented.
