What are some of your favorite Studio One features?
@cefahprod Жыл бұрын
Tons of small features. Folder bus is amazing especially with macro. The integration with melodyne which make co averting audio to midi ultra fast. The templates système is great. Multi instrument and splitter are awesome. And I recently used lyrics track and the remote control app and it is absolutely amazing. 😅 My favorite daw and will be my only daw if they add atmos integration and better audio for video editing like spotting and sound bank management

There so much that I like about this Daw, but One of the features I don't like is paying $200.00 for every Damm upgrade. Presonus should offer a special discount for the people who've been using Studio One for over a decade. Like showing customers that you value their business is a simple and effective way to delight your customers in the short term and develop deep brand loyalty in the long-term. I know you don't work for Presonus and in saying that I'm not pointing the finger at you :)

You got yourself a new subscriber from someone who just came over to Studio One from Cubase. Some are similiar but there's a lot of stuff to learn.

Always good to stumble across a KZbin channel where the person really "knows their stuff." Since I'm graduating to a DAW (Studio One) from tape and digital machines, your stuff is a little advanced for me, or at least in this video. But hopefully I'll be catching up.

Thank you and glad to have you! Studio One can be daunting at first but it's not that hard once you get a hang of it!

Thanks for the video and thanks for the widget! Had brain surgery 9 years ago so had to stop recording. Last setup; PT v8, Mbox 2, Guita Rig 4, Line Pro Rack, all on a pimped out G5. Current; Mac Mimi, Ventura, Logic Pro 10.7.7, Focusrite solo 3rd Gen . I’m able to push the mini to an insane 32 buffer!!!! Always been dead on rhythmic wise, still am, but I’ve had a b…. of a time (no pun intended) being able to play on time with Logic 10.7.7!!!!l Downloaded demo of studio one 6, however you can’t use 3rd party it, and there’s virtually NO demo plugins. Before I get sphere, have you recorded analog with Logic and Studio One?

Hi, a noob here... I guess S1 has a sort of advanced tool / macro for this: To make a "dataset" (for AI training models) you have to put several acapellas tracks in one, then edit, slicing and deleting silences, and moving all the parts to the left (sorry, as you notice I´m not speak english...). Several times I couldn't "select all" or "Combine" the event, to move all the slices and I had to do it one by one... (I use S1 Prof vn 4, and 6 Artist)... Thanks for any advice. whats up Ivan, how did you get a white waveform for the Loop 2 track? Please I didn't know studio one could do that!
@ImIvanCalderon Жыл бұрын
Hey Marty! So the waveform color is dependent on the track color. It changes automatically so it's easier to see. If you want white waveforms just choose darker track colors!
@martybrown2831 Жыл бұрын
@@ImIvanCalderon Ahhh! Thanks Ivan. I wish that all waveforms could be white. Like you can change the default to light or dark, that would be really good!

Can you flip chord a progression? Make the first chord be the last and vice versa
@ImIvanCalderon Жыл бұрын
Manually, of course. With macros? Not sure I’d have to mess around and see lol

So after months of testing, reading articles and so on, I can confirm Studio One still has serious midi jitter issues. What you play is not really what is being recorded.I've run many tests, with other audio interfaces, DAWs, computers, equipment, versions of Studio One. I have even done some clean windows installations, but nothing seems to fix it, so I can only say that Studio One is at fault. I have played drums and piano parts, arps and sequencer and the Atom, but no matter what you do, the MIDI notes ALWAYS have MIDI jitter. Some notes are recorded perfectly (a few of them actually), some ohters have midi jitter, placed here and there in a confusing way.I have gone through many tests with collaborators, even programmers and technicians (we even changed settings in the BIOS, system drivers..) but we were not able to fix it for good. There is no solution to this problem. Presonus Studio is a CRAPPY Midi DAW, terrible.
