To think that a young child would scream in pain to stop, and still say "I love you" while being stabbed hurts my heart. She was stabbing him, he was in the worst pain he's ever known, afraid, bleeding, and with all of that the fact that he loved his mother was a thought that crossed his mind. If anyone ever cares about you enough to tell you they love you while you're tearing their life away from them, that is a human being that deserves the deepest love and respect

What bothers me is that the one who killed the 9 yr old had no motive. That's the most disturbing, because you don't know why he did it and you don't know what set him off. But, what's most interesting is, the other sister was with him as well.. She was left alive, I hope she didn't see him kill her sister. That would caused some severe trauma. And why was her body parts in his freezer.. I hope they weren't his "trophies".

In most cases of first time crimes against children the killer doesn`t always want to tell the true motive especially if it started as a sexual attraction ...dude probably had been eyeing her up for quite awhile to which he on that night tried to do something sexual with that 9yr old, and when she didn`t quite act the way he wanted he snapped.

It's called narcissism. With other features to make it worse, obviously, but at the core, she felt like she had as much right to kill him as a normal person does to erase a picture. It's impossible to understand for people who actually love their children, because that's a selfless love. (Also, if she doted on the boy so much, it could've been some kind of weird sex thing. Kill him so you don't have to deal with the incestuous/pedophilic feelings and/or punish him for not getting you high enough on dopamine anymore.)

@rosetyler14347 жыл бұрын
Yes, please be careful who you choose as a babysitter. I've had many that scarred me for life. Age, race, gender, sexuality all mean nothing, anyone can be insane and very harmful to a child. My most mild example would be when my very first babysitter ever when I was about 4yrs old (my parents didn't want to leave me that night but had no choice for a work thing.) I was in my kitchen with the teenage blonde skinny female babysitter who told me to wait in the kitchen and not to move until she got back. She assured me she'd be right back, she was just getting something from her car. Yeah, she never came back. (I was a ridiculously obedient kid so I didn't move) Like my mom returned and asked what I was doing and where the sitter was. I was confused and said she was in her car. Mom informed me that her car was not there. We never heard anything about this chick again like she totally disappeared, and she was part of our church youth group. Also there was an older lady who went totally batshit, she fell in love with my father who had no interest whatsoever. She was my babysitter, she had a three kids of her own with two being teens. She left all of that, and divorced her husband, as some sort of demonstration of love to my dad. Keep in mind that my dad almost never saw this lady, she just heard things about him, such as he was a relatively wealthy dentist. They didn't interact unless it was my dad confronting her telling her to leave him alone, she was only supposed to be my babysitter.

Yeah I mean ok she had some intellectual challenges but it seems she had quite a sadistic side with killing cats & then moving up to kids. Who knows how many other lives she would have taken if she hadn't been caught when she was & the fact that she's shown no remorse tells me she's exactly where she needs to be hopefully she'll never come out alive.

I've often volunteered to babysit kids in hopes that it'd prevent a tragedy like this. Everything from watching children in pools and after funerals, I wanted to be sure that they'd be taken care of when parents were too distracted. The one time I didn't volunteer a massive and irreversible incident nearly occurred. After developing epilepsy I stopped babysitting, as I could not promise the children's complete safety in case something happened while I had a seizure. It upset the parents I knew, but they understood, despite their children pleading to be babysat by me. Most of all, I couldn't watch them at the pool. And it was at a pool where I saw uncaring parents that I would have otherwise volunteered to watch their kids. For one second I was underwater, the next I surfaced to panic. A little boy slipped while grasping the side of the pool and went under. Thankfully a girl spotted him in time to save his life, but it left a deep impact. He was right next to me when he was drowning. If that weren't enough, his parents didn't care and simply rolled their eyes. I can't remember ever being as mad as I was in that moment. Or feeling such deep pity for an unloved child.

These things make my babysitting skills look amazing. The children I babysat always loved when their parents hired me. Not sure why though. Oh wait. I kept them safe, and essentially nurtured them as if they were my babies. I may not have been great at figuring out why little Joey was crying so much, but I sure tried to help him as best as I could.

I pay my mom a substantial amount of money a week to keep them while I work .... She is the only one I trust . Thank you Rob for reminding me of the reason for my strictness . My family and friends tell me I need to loosen up and let my kids be social and I need to go out once in a while ....A night out isn't worth the risk of losing my babies ... And they're friends are welcome at MY house.... It's all worth it to keep my babies safe.

The second babysitter my brother and I had was when I was around 1/2 and he was 2/3. We both have no memory of any of this, but she would verbally and physically abuse me while my terrified brother hid behind couches and chairs. She would throw me against beds and couches, shake me, dangle me upside down, scream at me, and God knows what else. One day, she took me out in my stroller to a park and started shaking and yelling at me. A mother out with her child saw this and went up to her asking if I was her child and why she was doing this. The nanny apparently laughed and said she was the nanny to my brother and me and that she could do this because the parents would never find out. The mother somehow got my parent's names and number and called them to tell them the disturbing news. They then put a nanny cam up in a teddy bear and caught her abusing me, filed a few lawsuits against her and now she had a restraining order placed on her for being near school and children. My brother told my parents multiple times of things that the nanny did but they brushed it off as a child making up stories when he didn't get what he wanted from the nanny. My parents took us both to see a psychologist who deemed that we had no trauma and would sustain no memories of the events. Yes, neither of us remember but I believe that the abuse my brother saw inflicted upon me triggered him to start relentlessly bully me for years to come and triggered several psychological disorders in both of us.

Everyone was so shocked and sad because it was so surprising.

Just reaffirms my position on babysitters for my own family. My son will be 9 in June and he has never, not even once, had a babysitter, outside of grandma or grandpa. And he never will, I can promise you that. If my parents can't watch him, I stay home, period. My own experience with babysitters growing up was one of repeated physical, mental, and sexual abuse from the time I was about 5. My son will never be at risk for that. I don't look down on people who use babysitters, and in fact I was a child care giver myself for a while. Some parents need someone to watch their children, and I respect and understand that fully. I just say, do full background checks, be thorough when choosing someone to watch your children, never just assume that because a person is blood related that they are ok, keep an eye on the behaviors of your child, and listen to your child if they ever say something that seems off, or show signs of fear or illness when it comes time for them to be sat for. But personally, all I can say is that this is just something that happened to me, so I suppose I am overly protective with my son.

I was a nanny to three little girls, the youngest was a premature delivery. I was their nanny for two years until the oldest asked me to tickle her like her daddy did. I was worried and asked her what she meant. It was what I thought she meant (inappropriate touching) so I had to go to the police. The mother said that she had had suspicions and that was why she hired me instead of leaving them with their father... I was sickened by the fact the mother decided to hire a nanny instead of going to the police. Unfortunately the state failed those little girls and didn't convict the father (also the mother wouldn't testify or even press charges beyond what the state had tried to press). Last I heard they had moved back to the state after living with the father's father. The grandfather ended up killing himself with a shotgun in his mouth whilst the three girls were at the same house. It was found out he did it because he couldn't live with his son threatening him if he went to the police over the three girls being molested by him. Eventually the father of the three girls started trying to kill himself. I think the three girls were taken from both parents and last I heard he was still alive. It really is awful when mothers and fathers betray their children like that. It's also awful when babysitters do the unthinkable. It really is shocking how sometimes a person can have you completely fooled and you find out somehow that they were actually evil incarnate.
