I unboxed my machine today. DX85 cut the test piece, worked great. Tried to cut something next and I had a big mess. It cut all over the place with a jagged edge around my image! I know it was user error, and when I cleaned off the mat, I probable scrubbed too hard to get the itty bitty paper bits. It’s still tacky but it doesn’t look very nice. Your video has answered some basic questions that I had. Thank you. IS THERE A 'ONE STEP BACK' button for when things just aren’t going correctly? I wish you had more videos about how to use the machine. But,I am very thankful for the one I found.

Interesting video, has there not really much on the scan and cut as there are more videos on cricket etc, which you would be more more out there.. 😊

Hey there Rebecca, great video filled with wonderful tips. So I have a question for you, how often do you have to replace your cutting mat, and is it because it becomes less tacky that you replace it or just what is the reason? TFS😊❤🍁

Thanks for watching! 😊 When it comes to cutting mats I am not a pro, but they should be replaced when they are not sticky if you don't want to use a spray (like I do) but tbh...I really need to change my mat because when scanning all the cuts show up 😅

@@SybilB It is a good machine but Cricut still has a better svg store 😅 That's the only thing I miss with this machine! So might get a smaller joy... but I dunno 😅
