Cheers Steve... Good advice there👍 On beach yesterday and got a 925 silver ring and handful of pre-decimal coins. That rough weather worked a treat😀.

Thanks Phil! Sounds like you have a good spot there! The big swells and harsh tides definitely help to uncover those deeper targets and bring them within Detecting range.

Thanks Steve 👍. Good tips. I’m yet to take my Nox on a beach but keen to try. Cheers 🥳🇦🇺

The Nox is a great beach machine, and I’m sure you’ll find some good stuff if you put in the time!

This is the first time I’ve heard about aiming your coil at the source of interference. I did not know this.

The machine scans for the channel with the least amount of interference, and by aiming the coil at the nearest likely source of interference you are giving it a better chance of picking up this interference, and thereby avoiding it.

if u read the manual beach 1 is for wet and dry sand and beach 2 is for underwater
@coilsandcoinsdetecting Жыл бұрын
True, this is what the manual states. I have found that Beach 2 works well for me when gridding the beach and moving between dry sand, wet sand and the edge of the water. I get less false signals and the depth is still very good.
