Loved this video.... you are a Nice Guy for helping them out! Quick Question: I recently bought 10 acres of OLD farm land in Michigan(once owned by Martin Van Buren/Prez) and surrounded by 200 year old Oak Trees with cleared rock piles along the Tree Lines. The field rocks were cleared by the farmers and piled in the Tree lines. I have found (not with a detector) a dozen old Horse Shoes and Types of Metals in the tree lines under the rocks. Are Old Farming Tree lines hot spots for Metal valuables from years gone by??? (thinking about buying a Metal Detector as a hobby 😃) Thanks

Thank you! Those are great places to search. Farmers would typically take breaks near the edges of the field. Try to find historic maps to see if there were any other dwellings on the property. Good luck!
