Thank you for those precious tips. I have a notebook too in wich I write my favorite recipes. I tought that I was almost alone to do so. I tought that people were going online most of the time. I do too but I transcript the best in my notebook.

You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed. Hahaha, right!? Maybe we are a dying breed to still be using a notebook, but I love it! I do the same as you, when I find recipes online, I try them first and then transcribe them into my notebook. Love it! 🤗💕

Ooh you should publish that notebook where you write all your recipes 😍 I'm sure a lot of people here would buy your cookbook, from the comments I've read you have so many yummy recipes
@LetsEatPlants Жыл бұрын
Hahahaha aww thank you! I’ll take it under consideration! A lot of the recipes are slightly tweaked from other people’s recipes so I would have to give *a lot* of credits. 😅😅

My tip is to batch cook Beans, potatoes, rice and veggies. Then store them in air-tight containers in the fridge, then you can mix and match them as you wish! It sure speeds up meals when I do this. For example... Yesterday I cooked up 9 cups of Rice in my Insta-pot, oven baked 7 1/2 pounds of potatoes, and steamed a large pot of Broccoli. It speeds up meals doing it this way.

With my beans - I soak them for 24 hours ( fewer tummy troubles that way), then cook it 3 times for 10 minutes - dumping the water each time. Doing this stops the gas pain issue for my family. Then I freeze the majority of them in my freezer for faster meal prep and they won't spoil before I get to them.

Great tips LeeAnnah! Yes, batch prepping is sooo helpful! That's the style we usually do as well. 🤗 And having beans in the freezer has been a game changer for us too. No need to buy canned anymore. 😃 Good tip for soaking first, I have heard people with digestive issues can get a lot of relief that way. Thank you for sharing your tips! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

A couple of months ago our internet went out for 2 days and I couldn’t get into my recipes so I started writing them in a notebook. Old school still works great! 😂
@LetsEatPlants2 жыл бұрын
Hahaha omg I love that! Necessity sometimes works in our favor. 😆😛 It does come in handy when I spill spices all over it. I’d much rather the notebook get dirty than my phone LOL!

Since I just found you, I know you don’t have any more meal prep courses. Do you have the course in written form or anything to purchase?
@LetsEatPlants Жыл бұрын
Hi Deborah! The course is actually offered a few times every year and will be opening again in a couple weeks! 🤩 If you're interested to learn more about it, check it out here: bit.ly/LEPmealprepcourse On that page is also the waitlist for the next course opening (or you can sign up for it directly here: bit.ly/lep-mpc) which I highly suggest joining, so that you'll get notified when the course is open for enrollment. 😊😊 I currently don't have anything else for purchase. Hope this helps!
