It only helped me love Your style, i go late and clear gyms solo with one tough pokemon, they are weak too. Unless they go random, then switch around. Gyms are sometimes easy. Thank you Princess!

You can only fight gyms that are held by a different team from you. In the gym screen, there will be a button at the bottom right with 2 pokeball symbols and a sort of explosion 💥 icon. Tap that to get to the gym battle. You can only fight the gym when there isn't a raid going on. And yeah, pokémon will be stuck at a gym until someone from a rival team battles them. If you're in touch with your local player group, you could always ask them to clear the gym for you.

you might have said this but whenever i go to gyms i always lose. My pokemon are always real weak and whenever i lose at the gyms and they faint my pokemon just dissappear and i cant use them again its a waste how do i get that to stop

If you go to the Items section of your bag, you should see one called a Revive. Tap that and you'll get a list of your Pokémon that have fainted. Tap the Pokémon you want and it will wake up. To heal it fully, look for potions in your bags.

I have a few questions poke coins. 1. If I have a pokemon in a gym for 18 hours over 2 days when the pokemon is returned does that mean I get 100 coins because it's over 2 days? 2. If I have a pokemon in a gym for 8 hours then they get knocked out at 11:55pm but my team doesn't lose control of the gym and I put another pokemon in the gym at 12:01am does that start the time over again so if my pokemon stays in for 8 hours I would get another 50 coins?

1) Nope. It's capped at 50 coins per day AND per Pokémon. 1 Pokémon maxes out at 50 coins no matter how long it's been in the gym. 2) You should get another 50 when your second Pokémon returns, yes. You get the coins when your Pokémon returns rather than when gym control is lost.

Nope, they took out gym training last year in a big shake-up of the system so Ace Trainer is a legacy medal. Now, trainers can put up to six Pokémon in a gym, all different.

The only way to stop other players knocking your Pokémon out of the gym when you're not there is to feed them golden razz berries at the right time. Even then, a persistent player will succeed, given enough time.

How can you see if someone is fighting your gym? I just find out when my Pokémon gets returned to me, and then it’s too late for a golden razzberry.

Check your game settings. There should be a notification option for Low Motivation which will give you a bit of warning

There was a big rework of the gym system last year. No more gym training so any progress you made on the Ace Trainer medal is stuck.

CP above 2500 will decay a little faster but ultimately you gotta wait for other players to knock your Pokémon out.

I have an issue of when I beat a gym (or join one of my faction), I'm limited to what Mon are available for me to put in the gym. Is this a glitch or is there a rule behind it. Example I beat a gym last night and it wouldn't let me add my Tyranitar (Lucky, 2800+ CP, 83 IV). Today I joined a gym that already had a Ryhorn, but I couldnt add my Lugia (2300+ CP, 96 IV). Both Mon were not in my inventory when when I tried to add them.

You can't put legendaries in gyms, so that's why Lugia didn't show up. Your Pokémon also need to be at full health and unique. If there was already a Tyranitar in there, that's why yours wasn't showing. Alternatively, if it wasn't at full health, it also wouldn't show.

Hello! No need to apologise. When your pokémon get knocked out you can wake them up using an item called a revive. Heal them back to full HP using potions. Both of these items come from spinning the disc on pokestops and gyms. CP level goes down with Pokémon motivation. It's a way to encourage people to fight gyms as not everyone has the time to battle fully-charged gyms.

Go to your Items menu then touch the revive item and you'll get a list of fainted Pokémon. Touch the Pokémon to revive them. Then go back to the menu and do the same for the potions.

Yeah, they retired gym training last year. Now gyms take up to 6 pokémon, all different. No more Blissey towers.

No, there's no story-mode kind of thing. I guess if you complete your pokédex you could consider it a win but then they release more shiny forms or a new generation.

Explain each of the terms like a traditional vocab quiz: gyms, stardust, IV, CP, poke stops, gifts, etc. Maybe just focus on the terms in one video rather than the broad concepts. IDK just an idea. Nope. If you've already reached your cap for the day and another Pokémon gets knocked out on the same day, you get nothing.

I don’t see any good enough reason for Legendary Pokémon to be banned from putting in a gym… I mean the game has been out for like 4 years now? I’m pretty sure most players have at least 1 legendary, and if they don’t, so what, Legendary Pokémon aren’t that much stronger than a normal Pokémon, in fact, a few of them are weaker than some Pokémon that can already go in gyms. Also battling a Team Rocket leader is quite a bit harder than battling strong Pokémon in a gym. They can limit 1 legendary Pokémon in a gym, what the heck is wrong with that?? I really don’t see how letting at least 1 legendary Pokémon go into a gym, anything wrong with that… Please Niantic, make the game more interesting some how, these rules are getting old.
