I've had 6 1911s and probably a hundred hand guns. My Tisas Duty in 9mm is the most acurate pistol I've ever owned I also have the Tisas Carry in 45. It's great as well. Both shoot better than my Colt.

This is like discussing the best Model T Fords for the money. From roughly the same era, they were amazing machines in their time. During the century since either was introduced, better products have emerged. A Model T is certainly a nice collectors item, and they can be used now and then when one craves nostalgia, but I wouldn't consider one for a daily driver. Same goes for shooting a 1911. They are interesting artifacts, but have been overshadowed by modern replacements.
