I’m sorry but I can’t imagine taking advice from someone who wears a Supreme T shirt for something like this.

The last hatchet, the Hults Bruk, is a truly nice tool......then when showing the hatchet in its sheath, it became a Gransfors....????

It's because the maker of the vid. doesn't know a thing about hatches/axes

Nice review, but look at Gränsfors outdoor Axe and Gränsfors small hatchet , top in the world. The same for Karesuando hunters axe Unna. Just a advice 😀😀👌

@@soundtracks6656 I saw that. The blade hoodie made me pause the vid. I just peeked at the Gransfors Bruk site and their mini, although listed as cheaper tool, it doesn't have a steel wedge into the wooden one. ~ And it's not really wise to use the hammer end with the hoodie on even though you can..it just beats the hoodie into the blade. I liked the Hults Bruk hoodie more. ~ lol, I thought they were kinda cool looking and I ran with a Hultafors Ågelsjön Mini Hatchet. ~~ I found one on Da Bay for 85.00 USD, shipping was 24.00. ~ oops, rookie me ordering from DA Bay ordered from Israel. :-l It came fairly fast once shipped, in perfect condition Israel to Chicago area. ~ Btw, Not to spam here, but these guys have a nice thick leather holster for such hatchets that matches my HB hoodie near perfect. ...four nice rivets is quite sturdy. The only reason I'm dropping the link is they customized this stock item for me...after a few emails, lol, trying to explain what I wanted. methinks the only reason it took a few emails is that I talk like a sausage. (-: ~ I climb around in raised up woods at times. I didn't want such the sized belt loop for the fact if I caught handle to as straight up it would not fold at all (dangle kind of) and perhaps knock me off balance. They modded my holster by adding an inch to the belt loop of a stock item... ..couple guys that do great leather work in between out adventuring is what I got from it. Missing from great mini hatchets is Estwing. I'd have one if they didn't move away from leather hoodie to nylon nor does sit still in a holster. ..blah blah (-: reviewog.com/product/axe-holster/

Hults Bruk and Gransfors Bruk are different axes bro, you got a bit mixed up at the end. Weird selection too, lots of better ones available.

from $30 dollar axes to $150. I don't need to do a review to tell you the Hults Bruk axe is the best of the bunch.

You wrote that the SCHRADE SCAXE2 in position #5 has an overall length of 1.8", and a blade length of 3.8". Sounds odd!

Video starts at 1:25 but to many adds had to wait 2 minutes+ to start watching the real content. Only to find out the 2 first hatchets are chinese stainless-steel 😒. The other 2 were descent low end budget disposable Hatchets. From there you went to a mid-upper end premium Bruk! Your selection is all over the place.

FYI. You say number one is Hults Bruk Jonaker, but you show Gransfors Bruks’ Hand Hatchet in parts of the video (see 9:15 into the video and the cover photo). I’ve never used the Hults, but Gransfors is solid. I know their specs (and I hear quality) are similar, so the mistake is understandable

Axes and hatchets are not the same thing, and should be on separate lists. Considering those selected for this list, I wonder if the video creator has ever swung a hatchet in the first place.

So you had me until you list SCHRADE as your first on the list ..... SCHRADE PRODUCTS ARE JUNK! I will attest to this personally. Everything else you have opinions on is now suspect.

I admire anyone who can learn more than one language, really I do. But the only people who butcher the English language more than this narrator are the British themselves!

My point being is that it's a huge distraction and I don't know what he's saying in many cases. For example, I did learn that an axe is an "eggs" and " unbrackable" means "unbreakable". Also, he was constantly putting the em-FASS-iss on the wrong sih-LABB-uhl. On the technical side, I was surprised to learn that the Schrade SCAXE2 is only 1.8 inches in overall length. Etc, etc, etc. Again, I'm not trying to be harsh. I took Spanish for five years and can barely handle Spanglish. This guy has several channels, and I will usually click off his videos when I hear his voice. He needs to give up a little bit of control and let someone else narrate his videos.
