Given that Vandal Savage was Genghis Khan as stated in Season 3, he actually has millions of descendants just from that particular identity. Approximately sixteen-million and counting. My maternal heritage is a mixture of Mongolian and German, so there's a decent chance that he's one of my ancestors. And that doesn't even take into account the descendants that he has from all of his other lifetimes and identities over the last few dozen millennia.

I always thought of Vandal Savage killing his daughter as somewhat of a mercy. And Vandal Savage own twisted way he sees it as a way of protecting himself but also to make sure his daughter doesn't die that painful of a death. Cuz most people who have dementia they die in a very painful way of losing all their memories until they can't even remember how to breathe. And that would just be painful so I think in Vandal Savage on mind he thinks it as a good thing. And I do as well. It's one of the reasons why it's personally one of my favorite kills. Or deaths in the series.

Exactly, what Vandal did was quick and painless. Needle's suggestion of putting her in a home is just a slow, painful and agonizing death.

Agreed, two of my grandparents had dementia and it was a horrible slow painful death. Vandal killing his daughter was quick and a mercy compared to what she would have gone through if he hadn’t done it

There is a problem with that though. Where he did it? On a spaceship full of alien technology. It's the same thing as with Barbs being stuck in a wheelchair while people run around in exosuits, have regenerative abilities, use cybernetics and so on. Was it brutal mercy in his past lives? Yes. Was it mercy in the situation they were in? Nope. Plus it's quite obvious he doesn't care with how he just walks away right after.

I always felt that Vandal Savage's killing of his daughters as something akin to ripping off a bandaid. Like I'm certain the man *does* love each of his daughters, visible in keeping them so close and teaching them his secrets, as well as the whole proper burial and stuff. But the man just, over the centuries and centuries of being alive, has probably found the easiest way for him to handle it, was to just *do it.* It kind of gives the immortal warmonger an interesting human side in my mind

I think Geo-force was completely justified in his killing of his Uncle. Given everything hes done to Brion & his family Plus the Uncle clearly said that as long as hes breathing, he won't stop doing what he does. So the way I see it Brion didn't have a choice, he had to kill him.

I Think that's his name) Emotions being boosted can make you go insane, trust me I have nearly done something similar when someone in my family was being an A-hole to my little brother and well I almost had one less family member I was that mad about it, the fact that even though he's a fake character he could hold back from ending his uncle for so long and still wouldn't have done it without his emotions being boosted I have to say I would've done it a lot sooner

it'll be very hard to make jason work in this show with how it's going he'll either be cast aside as "hey look guys, a new character! he'll be in 3 new episodes and disappear until the finale! have fun with this new character!" or he'll be a new character alongside a new team that will be the focus for the entire season and drown out the stuff the fans are actually interested in such as the villains or the og team. and (as i hope everyone should know), these 2 scenarios won't work. they'll be serviceable and be the easiest thing to accomplish, but they won't be fun or do justice to how new characters should be. besides, i think jason should actually be a villain in phantoms before the finale where he disappears to become a good guy in season 5

Perhaps he can take something as simple as and honest as justice, twist and enhance it to the point where the person could see murder being natural and not wrong. Perhaps Geoforce didn't actually want to kill his Uncle, but what did linger within him was twisted.

4:29 the problem is you're trying to apply normal logic to a man who has lived for over 30,000 years. Simple fact is neither you nor I or anyone is qualified to talk about the way someone like that should act because we have no idea. Savage has lived longer than most civilizations and has had to watch as his family and many other things he's lived with gradually age and decay and it's very likely during the first few centuries it did hurt him immensely and likely drove him a little crazy. However, after 30,000 years he's long grown numb to it as he knows there's nothing he can do about it and the best to do is press onwards.

I think that the first death you mentioned was the best, because not only was it right at the start of the season, so it set the tone for the season, scarred one of the heroes, and it was also a tragic death, and the backstory was able to be so sad with so little build up

It's also worth noting that in the comics William Hayes only became a villain because he just wanted to be a villain and so he becomes Harm but also when he kills Greta before she became Secret he showed no mercy in killing her because it turned out that she wasn't his real sister and that is how he became pure of heart to wield the sword of Beowulf what least that's the comics explanation and essentially he plans on murdering the Justice League so he plans on killing the Young Justice Team first so He can use it as practice before he goes up against the big leagues the Justice League
