5 Best Hikes in Madeira Portugal 🇵🇹 Hiking Road Trip

Hiking in Madeira. This is our story of exploring the Hiker's Paradise Madeira on a road trip through the little island. It was our first time traveling to this beautiful Portuguese island and we had only four days. So, we wanted to get the best mix of what Madeira's nature has to offer. We selected 5 categories that characterises this North Atlantic Ocean pearl and chose one hiking trail out of each of them - the best forest, historic, coastal, levada and mountain hiking trail. They best showcase the wild and naked nature of of Madeira.
All of the hikes were amazing! However, there were some challenging parts which we also show in the video. One of it is the crazy driving experience, as the roads in Madeira are like nothing we had seen and driven on before. We have some tips that you should know and see before going to Madeira island, Portugal.
These five hiking trails are must see spots in Madeira. Some of them are still hidden gems. At least one of these hikes can be considered among the best hikes in Europe. We're sure this hiking video guide will make you add some new hiking trails to your to do list. This video includes also some travel tips and where to park your car at the trailheads.

Great video and some good pointers to cool hikes when I return next year. We will put Fanal on our list. my wife is a bit scared of heights but i might be able to persuade her to walk down that steep track to the village and return by cable car , if its not too open edged . Sao Laurenco looks awesome too. But your shoot on Pice Aeriro was amazing. Great job. I did it last year and its a huge challenge but so rewarding. . Your drone shots really showed me what I was walking through at the time. Also thanks for pointing out that Levada Nova might be too much (for my wife) . Ill do another one instead
