Hi from Charlotte, NC! I enjoyed your video very much. Love all five of these Hoyas. There’s good reason for these OGs being so popular. Easy care, somewhat forgiving (within reason) and they are beautiful, rewarding plants. In general the younger Hoyas or the smaller pots/cuttings of Hoya do not grow quickly the first year. They do that sleep the first year, creep the second year.and leap the third year thing. I always tell everyone new to Hoyas that it’s worth the wait and very rewarding. Your Hoyas are all lovely and I can tell they are well cared for. Many thanks for this fun video! 👌🪴🥰

WOW this was sooo good. I have spent hours and hours and hours on youtube and the web researching easy Hoyas... this was the absolute BEST video I have yet seen. You told us the directions of your windows, your general location, and detailed conditions of your plant room. And your set-up truly has put these hoyas through the ringer so you can actually tell us which hoyas truly are bomb proof :) thanks again. It was great to hear from someone who has actually had years of success with these plants too... not just a vast collection.

I have all 5 hoyas you mentioned in your wonderful video...I can attest that they are great and fast growing compared to others....and they grow well by natural light from windows because I don't have cabinets or grow lights or grow tents...and I only want plants that are not DIVAS because if it's high maintenance I will not love it😢😢

Thank you so much for watching💚 oh my gosh natural light is the best! It's so hard to get happy hoya under a grow light without paying boatloads of money. I feel diva plants are for people who thrive on stress or have the natural conditions so the plants dont behave like divas 😂💚 and I am glad these hoya are working so well for you to! Do you have others outside the 5 that you would reccomend? 😊

I grow my variegated hoya bella outside in the backyard. It survived 110F last summer and 120F the summer before. They are underneath a tree in the shade. Maybe air flow is also a factor.

I had one regular hoya Bella. She died on me last summer. It gets up to 83F/84F at my house. I wonder if the temperature was the issue.
