Two lures I would add to your selection would be a spinnerbait and a crankbait. Adding a gold spinner to your normal soft plastic setup can be the ticket when trying to cover some ground. I also like throwing a squarebill crankbait over hard shell bottoms or anywhere there are rocks. That bait bouncing off the bottom and bumping rocks will get the reds and trout to bite when they won't hit much else.

I have had some success with both of those but not enough to speak intelligently about them. They are both lures I am very excited to learn more about for sure. Thanks for watching

You seem to do the majority of your fishing from your boat. Many of us dont have one yet (but hope to rectify that soon) So I do a lot of fishing from the jetty if Im on my own. And my goto for the big Bulls are 3oz spoons - or 5/6" plastics. I had never fished a jetty till I moved here to Houston. But its such a buzz. Its not for everyone as it gets crazy and a little dangerous. Ive seen chaps out there on there own in the summer who have twisted a ankle. loadsa gear. boiling temperatures, not enough water. But when you see a big group of very big fish, the waves are crashing, birds diving you will be running those rocks chasing them down. My 1st 2 casts from the North jetty was using a gold 3oz. I caught a 52" Bull and a big Jack. So Ive been a jetty rat ever since lol Bit different to the Carp fishing I do here in England haha
