My Gucci loafers are extremely comfortable. I attribute it to the quality leather. I find the same with most my Italian leather shoes. Ferragamo is such a luxury shoe well made and extremely comfortable.

My favorites are Gucci loafers with collapsible back. I own 2 of them. They are so comfortable I wore them during my travel through Scandinavian countries. No problem walking on the cobblestones in Stockholm, Sweden

Love your summer shoe collection! Would love to see your entire (crazy) shoe collection next time! I have to agree with the craftsmanship and quality of Gucci shoes. As much as I love my Valentino Rockstuds and Tango's, Chanel ballerinas, Dolce&Gabbana and Manolo Blahnik pumps, I have to say - hands down - my favourite pair are my Gucci Jordaan loafers - they're super comfy, fit like gloves yet feel luxurious on my feet! I even wear them like I do with my sneakers (for running errands, picking up kids, etc.) and have been wearing them for years! I just had to re-sole them to keep them from falling apart but they're pretty sturdy, considering how often I wear them. Now because of this (and another vlogger who raves about her Princetown), I think I'll consider getting a pair in white/beige for summer!

I've been wanting to see your advices and taste on summer shoes 😊 My favorite summer shoes are the J'adior flat slingbacks that I recently bought, but I still have on my mind the Chanel ones. I would love to watch a comparison video between the Chanel and the Dior slingbacks. My favorite sneakers are still Golden Goose. I now own several pairs of them and I keep buying them as they are so chic and comfortable, plus they are made in Italy and for me right now that's a plus more than ever. I have been looking at the Gucci loafers, so I might go and try them on one of these days. Would love to see your entire shoe collection! I, too am a shoe fanatic. I love the J’adior slingbacks (I’m wearing them on my wedding day) but agree the Chanel ones are more comfortable. Love the Gucci Princetown mules. I have a pair in the Tian pattern and a black pair with the fur but if I’m being honest I regret purchasing the fur Princetowns now. They’re not that cool anymore....... What do you think of the Dior espadrilles in blue oblique?

I don´t love the Oblique Dior expadrilles personally, because there is jus too much going on with the monogram, the logo and the structure of the straw.

Great video Evelyn! Love your recommendations - I own some of the shoes you've recommended more specifically the Chanel and Dior slingbacks as well as the Valentino sandals that you love so much! I agree the sandals are a great summer shoes however very finnicky to put on. I would recommend getting the Loro Piana Summer Charms Walk shoes. They are THE most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I thought that the Chanel espadrilles were super comfy but the Loro Piana takes comfort, elegance and quality to a whole new level. It feels like walking on butter! They are my absolute favourite pair - though very pricey, I think they are one of those forever shoes. :)

I 100% agree with you on the Gucci Loafer. With or without the back, they are definitely worth the purchase. They are so comfortable, and like you said you can walk all over in them. Was wondering if you do anything to protect the leather bottom?

Yes, I usually take my leather shoes to the shoe maker and let them attach a protective rubber sole.

I always impregnate my shoes, after wearing them I stuff them with tissue paper and let them „cool out“ for 12 hours, then I put them back in the box:) I also do regular clean them, treat them with nourishing creams and polished, depending on the material 😅💓

Awesome collection! I have many of the same shoes, and switched from Chanel slides to those Hermes ones in tan and in white. Can't wait to wear them. I also have beige Chanel espadrilles but really like your black YSL ones. I am also considering switching from Manola slingbacks to the Chanel slingbacks because of the square heel. I do think Gucci has the best loafers but would recommend Tods loafers as well. Incidentally, my husband tells me I put Imelda Marcus to shame. This man has around 8 pairs of Gucci and Tods loafers, which I'm always tripping over.

Have to say, the Chanel slingbacks are extreeeeeeeeemely narrow, so they won’t be comfortable for anyone who doesn’t have a narrow foot. Also, I find them very unflattering-the toe box is cut very shallow which, along with the narrowness, makes it look like my foot is squeezed into them. These are the only shoes I have that look so weird. Nice if they happen to work for your foot shape, but not one I’d recommend because of the strange fit.

Yes, I love to wear them with all sorts of dresses and skirts, I love that combo. I also wear them to the office but the dress code at my firm is quite "business casual" so I do get away ith more trendy outfits in general. I am working on more outfit ideas and posts here and over on my Insta!

Chanel has 2 different sole "fits". If you are in the store, make sure that they get you a wider/ regular sole. The slimm soles are marked with a "C" next zu the size stamp on the buttom sole.💖

I personally think they hold up great but it always depends on how one takes care of their shoes. Regarding tue sizing, I do go up half a size in the Princetowns and half a size down in the Jordan’s 💓

I really want the Dior trainers but I haven’t taken the plunge as I’m concerned about keeping them scuff free and clean. Yours look like new still but as they are not all leather I don’t trust myself

I think it super important when chosing a delicate shoe, to be honest with your self. Same goes for buying high heels when you know, you are just never going to wear them! Maybe another version of this shoe migh be better suiting for you 💖

the geek is chic yes thank you, very true! If true to myself I know that I am not careful enough and need a more care free trainer. I have also stopped buying luxury high heels for this reason as I always seem to damage them including scuffing they heels 🤦🏻‍♀️ I need to find an all leather white trainer that I love as much as these 🥰☺️

I love shoes but unfortunately my feet are so...weird that its extremely difficult to find the right shoes...i have bought several luxury shoes and they end up hurting me..so i have stopped trying and can only be jealous of other people's collection.
