Love your shoe collection! ❤️ Those blue (cobalt?) Bottega heels look stunning but sad to know they're not as comfy as they look! Gucci loafers are indeed the comfiest pair ever! I have the Jordaan pair in black as well and they're super comfy even the first time I wore them - they didn't need to be broken in. They're def one of my favourites!

Awesome video you have one of the best videos with luxury shoes and a very honest review. I agree with you about those Chanel slingback they are very uncomfortable and I feel they don’t allow enough wiggle room in the front for the foot/toe area, there’s no to little cushioning on the foot bed and you’re right if it had a better back strap or I’d say even an adjustable strap I think it would add to the longevity of it becoming more comfortable. Keep up the good work with the awesome videos!!! ❤

I have the Nicholas Kirkwood Beya loafers in the exact same colour and my heels hurt from them as well 😭 I think in my case my problem is with the tabs/loops that dig into my Achilles tendons. But I'll try the trick with the silicone pads and hopefully it's gonna be better. 🤞

I sent them to Mr Quickie! ❤️ I did try using this local sole protector too-it’s called Preservee. It’s good too but it’s not as good as Mr Quickie for shoes that are too slippery. The stickers barely has any traction. Depends on the shoe I guess.

yes, flats usually offer very little support and are not healthy for the foot. But if done with sacchetto, will offer more comfort and support.

Love my Valentino rockstud block heel. They just make any outfit look better. And we have the same color too! My Valentino rockstud ballerina is not that comfy but it’s not that bad either. Weird thing is I tried one on at Adora, that’s how I knew what size to get, a size 35. I ordered via Farfetch but the size 35 that came was a bit big on me, esp the left shoe😅 I remedied it with an insole cork (I don’t know if that’s the right term)

I usually go to the stores to try out the shoe I want, so that I’m sure. Like for Saint Laurent I’ll go to their store in Shang and end up buying online. ☺️☺️☺️ It’s really important to fit it first because sizing can be different per brand.

@@MindaPCPA It’s so tricky. I recently bought the Valentino rockstuds in the kitten heel 7.5, they fit me perfectly! But I bought them from Valentino’s website (I could exchange them if they didn’t fit). The Chanel shoes I’m considering are from Poshmark, so I don’t have the opportunity of exchanging if the size is wrong and they’re not cheap. So this info is what I needed.

Hi there! I don’t wear socks anymore when I wear these shoes, but you can of course. It will surely prolong the life of your shoes because there will be less rubbing. My shoe size is 8 US, and for Gucci Brixton Loafers I’m a size 38. For Chanel my size is 39. Different sizing for Italian and French brands. 😭😭😭

Hello there! For me, there was no need to break in the loafers, it was very soft from the beginning and felt like slippers while walking. But it never expanded for me, like it’s still feels like the same for me as it did when I first wore it, just much softer. ☺️ Perhaps different shapes of feet make a difference. Especially when putting on the shoe.

Thank you!!! ❤️ Gosh, what is my most expensive buy: that would be a toss up between the Chanel Slingbacks, the Dior Slingbacks and the Bottega Lido sandals. My husband rarely joins me. When I shop abroad he would give me my space and take our son to the park or go for ice cream. He knows I need time to process haha! And he is actually very patient when it comes to these things. He believes that shoes are super important and they really tell a lot about a person. ☺️☺️☺️☺️

I remember it being less than P500. And not at all. All my designer shoes have that extra layer of protection and I love it. ☺️☺️☺️☺️ I’ve had a pair where the glue came off a little on the sides and I just bring it to Mr Quickie to get it reglued for free.

Another option would be placing Preservee stickers on the bottom of the soles. These are pretty thick stickers and they allow the shoe to have some grip, too. Not sure though what it will be like when I walk with those shoes while it’s raining. I bought 3 for my newest pairs since I don’t leave the house. ☺️☺️☺️☺️
