I dont know the name, but there are usually two recommend areas. The one far from the airport and the one nearby. I stayed nearby and we had direct access to the beach. It was also just 5min walking distance to the mall and only 5min to the nightlife area

@@CodeAndSuccess Because you only chose the 5 places well known to Westerners. I lived and worked in Thailand for 28 years ( NOT as a digital nomad } and the paces I lived - Kanchanaburi ( in the 1990s ), Chachoengsao and Prachinburi were by far better than the locations you named. My aim was NOT to meet foreigners. If you make to effort to speak Thai, Thailand is a very big country away from the places you named. And you don't have to live in a city or even a big town. But, live within a couple of hours of a place to do yoiur shopping etc.
